  1. I got a late start in watching the parade, but the first thing I saw when I turned the TV on was DJ Lance! I'll have to go back and watch the whole performance later. Love it!
  2. One of the WDW parks will be my first park of 2010, in early January.
  3. Great TR, and congratulations! Caribbean Beach looks very nice. I stayed there around 15 years ago, but don't remember it much. Will have to try and stay there again sometime.
  4. Got an email earlier that might be of interest to some, and it's for a good cause.
  5. Great stuff, guys!! I would love to own a beer cooler scooter.
  6. Great update! I got to hang out with most of that group when I visited SFGAm over the summer and agree that they're awesome. I know on GAdv opening day this year, you had many Big Mike fans come up to you to say hi!
  7. That looks like something Lady Gaga would wear!! Loving the in depth coverage of the event.
  8. Wow, it really looks great!! Thanks for the update, Adam.
  9. ^^Omg, you met DJ Lance? Jealous!! Aw, sad... but great that the show is doing so well!
  10. That is too cute!! Looks like a great production. Now I'm tempted to steal my neighbor's kid and go see it when it comes here. I love DJ Lance!
  11. ^ It will be interesting to see if they decide to do anything with the show after this reading. I've heard some of the music before and it's actually somewhat decent. In other musical news, I saw the first performance of the new Addams Family musical last night. While it was WAY too long (3 hours!), I liked it quite a bit and it certainly has a lot of potential. You can't go wrong with that cast, though. I was also really impressed with the set design and the puppetry. There's a song that Fester sings about his love for the moon, which was adorable and had such wonderful effects during it. I'll definitely be seeing this one again once it comes to Broadway. I can't wait to see the finished product!
  12. How fancy, I must get this. I also enjoy the Gaga Tap Tap Revenge. Some other great theme park related apps: Pocket Rockit - For Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal. It just lists all the songs, including the hidden ones with the numbers to use, along with instructions. Yeah, you can find this info online, but it's fun to have in the park. WDW Dining - Lists the restaurants and menus for all of the places in WDW theme parks and resorts. TripCase - You can put all of your flight and hotel info for upcoming trips in here. It will notify you if your flight is delayed. Wishing Stars - A scavenger hunt that so far can only be used at Disneyland. Toy Story Mania - This isn't my favorite, but it's still cool to play this game if you want to get your TSM fix. Mouse World Radio - Music from the parks in WDW.
  13. I have the WDW app similar to this, and it's not entirely accurate either, but I had fun plugging in the wait times one day as I passed each ride. It's nice that they have this, and hopefully something more official will become available eventually.
  14. Yeah, I was hoping to see that too. Still a cool app, though! Caught one of Nathan's last night, and sent up another one that is semi-TPR related.
  15. I actually have one baking right now! It's been a while since I've made one - hopefully it'll turn out ok!!
  16. Same. Can't really think of anything else right now, other than random kiddie credits, but Zuma's was the worst! I haven't borrowed any children to get a credit... yet.
  17. Well, they do have a LOT of the recipes, including the zebra domes. http://allears.net/din/rec.htm I made the 'Ohana bread pudding from the recipe on that website a while back and it turned out great! There are so many other things I need to try on there.
  18. I found one of Elissa's and one of Cameron's balloons! I just launched my first one a few minutes ago. See if you can find it!
  19. ^ I noticed that, too. I was going to send up a balloon with a picture I already had saved but it wouldn't let me. Oh well!
  20. This is one of my absolute favorite recipes. Paula Deen's Gooey Butter Cake Cake: 1 18 1/4-ounce package yellow cake mix 1 egg 8 tablespoons butter, melted Filling: 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 8 tablespoons butter, melted 1 16-ounce box powdered sugar Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine the cake mix, egg, and butter and mix well with an electric mixer. Pat the mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 13 by 9-inch baking pan. Prepare Filling In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla, and butter and beat together. Next, add the powdered sugar and mix well. Spread over cake batter and bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Make sure not to over bake as the center should be a little gooey. Servings: 6 to 8 servings Prep Time: 30 min Cook Time: 40 min Difficulty: Easy
  21. I just saw the new revival of Ragtime on Broadway and absolutely *loved* it! I remember seeing the original production a few times several years ago, and thought it was amazing too. I think seeing it again brought back so many memories and it just felt great to see something so wonderful on stage. The music is flawless and the cast does a terrific job with it. I cried like a baby. It's still in previews now, but I imagine that once it officially opens, it will be a big fat hit. Get your tickets now!!
  22. WDW races are the best! I started out by just gradually increasing my mileage each week, doing a few miles each day and then one longer run on the weekend. If you can get at least one 10 mile run before a half marathon, you should be fine.
  23. I haven't sent out any balloons yet, but I caught a few just to see what kind of things others are sending out there. Two of them were photos taken while sitting on the toilet!
  24. These are great! I'll definitely have to give some of these a try. Last week for Halloween, I made pumpkin muffins using a recipe from Disneyland. I did it without the icing, but they were still delicious! Pumpkin Muffins with Cream Cheese Icing Pumpkin Muffins: 2 cups pumpkin purée (canned) 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar 3 large eggs 3/4 cup canola oil 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 cup all-purpose flour 3/4 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp. baking soda 3/4 tsp. cinnamon 3/4 tsp. ground cloves 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 1/2 cup raisins Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together pumpkin, sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla until well blended. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg over the pumpkin mixture and whisk until just blended. Over mixing may result in less tender muffins. Fold in the raisins until consistently distributed. Portion mixture into muffin pans and bake at 325 degrees F for 25 minutes. Insert a toothpick into center of muffin and remove. If toothpick is clean, the muffins are ready. If not, allow muffins to cook an additional 1-2 minutes or until toothpick is clean. Allow muffins to cool for 30–60 minutes. Cream Cheese Icing: 1 cup unsalted butter 1 1/2 cups cream cheese 1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 cups powdered sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Allow cream cheese and butter to soften at room temperature for about an hour. Mix cream cheese and butter together until smooth. Add vanilla extract, powdered sugar and cinnamon, and mix until well blended. Remove from mixer, and cover and refrigerate until needed. Fill a pastry bag fitted with a star tip with icing. Poke a hole into the center of each cooled muffin and squeeze icing directly into the middle of the muffin, finishing with a rosette on the top.
