I agree, the ride seems to be very heavy on the screens and movies, something the surprises me based on all the pictures Disney posted of the HUGE props. I was hoping for something more along the lines of Pooh's Honey Hunt at Tokyo Disney. That being said, I hope this is successful and that it gets brought over to the the France section of Epcot.

Here is the onride picture of my Nephew, Sister, and Brother-in-Law, and I on Roarasaurus at Storyland in Glen, NH. It was a great ride (even on a very cold day). This is the first "big" coaster for my 6 year old nephew and he loves it. He put his hands up shortly after the pic was taken had them up the rest of the ride. We probably would ahve ridden more than the twice that we did, but it was an extremely cold day.

How Old Are You & What Was Your 1st Coaster?
Moose replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm now 35. My first coaster was the Comet Junior, the kiddie coaster at the now defunct Lincoln Park in Dartmouth MA. I finally rode the full sized coaster there in the final year the park operated. -
I admit it, I'm a Whovian. I am behind on this season, I like to record a bunch of episodes and then binge watch them.

The graveyard is the best haunt I've been to since it's basically 6+ haunts combined so you only have to wait in one line. -

Did they say there would be a merge or just drop your buffs. I thought it was the latter which sometimes just means a reshuffling of the tribes.

Margaritas on a ride? How did I not know this was a possible?!? -
Polar Orange. It's the closest thing to European fanta that you can get here in the states.

You definitely look like a crazed king. Never read the books but I love the show. If like to read them but I don't think I have time to read them and my book club book.

I started watching from the beginning. I almost threw in the towel with the whole jail/governor season. Last season was much better and so far this season is promising. I'm loving Carol's progression into badass too.

I still love zero g rolls. How are the new inversions on Rocky Mountain's Goliath, are they anyone's new favorite?

I cannot riding swinging ships without feeling extremely I'll. The old Huss frisbee where the seats face towards the center are even worse. -

I love how much this park has really transformed the outside portion of the park. This looks like a nice update. -

I got the 6 plus on Monday. It seems almost too big but I'm getting used to it, I went back to my 5 since it was still on my table and it seemed minuscule by comparison. When used as a phone it seemed a bit muffled (and yes I took of the protective screen)

PortAventura Discussion Thread
Moose replied to Shockwave's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
To me, design flaw means that there is something wrong with the design of the train making it inherently unsafe. This is analogous to a recall of a product which they would not do if it was simply uncomfortable. Just because the Kumbak trains give an awful uncomfortable ride, it does not mean that there is a design flaw. -

I never rode it without the Kumbak trains, but it is absolutely awful with them. Hopefully the park eventually does something to improve the ride. -

I've read somewhere that Disney also purchased a ton more land in that area and incorporated it into Reedy Creek.
