Thank for the pictures and good luck with your article. The park doesn't look as run down as I would have thought. Nature takes over quick. -

Wow, long time since anyone posted in here. I joined a book club last fall so I'm reading much more. Last month was Wuthering Heigjts which was an absolute chore to get through. This month it is The Hunger Games which I flew though. I'm trinh to decide if I want to read the other two books in the trilogy or pick something else up.

I'm sensing foreshadowing. -
To me it sounds like a regular truck that drives on roads etc that was used to winch the train. It was probably located within the ride envelope along a portion of track the coaster train would not have traversed if the strap hadn't broken. It sounds like a very bad placement of the truck. Hopefully everyone recovers and they've learned something about train recovery from this unfortunate accident.

Forget about the same era, I ride wildcat bite same day as you (I think) and found it to be rough enough not to voter riding it a second time. I don't think it's the worst I've ridden, but it wasn't enjoyable.

It could also be a factor of local tastes. Different regions like different foods, different favors etc. -
That's something that is key at my work. No matter how great the engineering behind our work is, if there are spelling or grammatical errors we look like unprofessional fools. So everything is double and triple checked. Stuff is still missed, but that happens. These mistakes are far beyond something that slipped through a proofread and makes Six Flags look unprofessional.

Heide Park Discussion Thread

I would say two gyro drop towers in one park would be odd, but this is Heide Park we are talking about. This place is famous for installing multiples o the same ride. Still I think it's unlikely.
