Best & Worst Refurbished Coasters
Moose replied to sportscapper's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Worst for me has to be SFNE's Cyclone. They neutered the first drop and the ride is still rough as hell. -
I went out today and bought some Tupperware and a few sweaters. Target still had quite a few TV's late this afternoon.

What was your first B&M Coaster?
Moose replied to thrillseeker4552's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I can't remember my first B&M. It may have been Kumba, but It could also be something at Great Adventure. I'm not even sure of that, getting old sucks. -
Stores here cannot open on thanksgiving by law, so they all open at midnight tomorrow. I'll likely go tomorrow afternoon. I adopt a family so going on Black Friday allows me to get more for them.

Dania Beach Hurricane Declares Bankruptcy
Moose replied to digidoc's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ The redeeming value was the hurricane! I really like this ride and that had always been the case, not just since it's been SBNO. It's sad, yet understandable, that the owners couldn't make it profitable and save it. -
Hanno's picture of the day

A lot of the landscaping looks immature (no shock there) I suspect it will be amazing once it all has grown in! -
Hmm, so if a coaster gets reprofiled and a new train, then it's a new credit? Many a wood coaster could then be counted numerous times. The reprofiling and new trains on SFNE's Cyclone made it suck, so I guess I should count it twice? Back on topic, I'm still not expecting this to be any good, at least in the long run. In my opinion Gravity Groups rides destroy themselves, making me suspect its a support design issue.

I was just going to post this. As soon as I saw it it made me wonder if Elissa snuck back to China just to scare a baby red panda.

Gals to hear this. Good luck! -
Welcome to the boards. Most of us that go on the trips went alone for the first time, now we often go with great friends that we met on the trips! I'm sure you'll have a great time!

what ride or rides scared the poop out of you?
Moose replied to geaugadan's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The first knockoff slc we ride in China scared the crap out of me. The restraints were so tight that i couldn't breathe, and that was before the ride even started. -
