  1. I sent the first part of my gift to my "victim" direct from Amazon. Although i would have liked to send it all together wrapped all nice nice,I just couldn't pass up on free two day shipping on a bulky item.
  2. Downloaded it, thanks for the heads up!
  3. ^I think my spine was shortened by that little coaster.
  4. In the 80's There used to be a water slide at Attitash's waterpark that was a padded buried pipe that then turned and shot you out about 10 feet above the pool. The ride was pitch black and fast and scared the crap out of me. The splashdown pool was a popular gathering place since the entry into the pool claimed quite a few bikini tops.
  5. SFNE's back to back boomerangs.
  6. Dinoconda had a pretty cool station, as did the other big coaster at the park. I have no clue what the queue looked like because TPR got us right onto the rides!
  7. Python at Busch Gardens, The Dark Continent. I was extremely scared and ended up loving it. I then made my father take me on it over and over again.
  8. I think Dan may still be on antibiotics after catching the Skegness. This park seemed abandoned even though it was brand new.
  9. Forget about the moon, what would a roller coaster be like on Jupiter with Gravity 2.5 times the strength of Earths'?!
  10. It depends on your criteria. If you want a crazy push the envelope ride and don't care if it is prone to breakdowns, it's Intamin. If you want a ride that has great capacity and works without downtime you need to hand it to B&M.
  11. Fascination is in a league all it's own. It really isn't fair to other carnival games to be compared to it.
  12. I think I'd have to go with Balder. With a megalite and Kumba being second and third.
  13. I've found the same thing with Lake Compounce but wasn't sure if it was a case of home park bias.
  14. ^ that was the same experience at Adventureland (Iowa). There is something special about having your restraint checked by someone info you sweetie and meaning it rather than an uninterested teen snapping their gum.
  15. I would think the policies are part of overall operations. It's not just the ride op's lack of enthusiasm that leads to bad operations.
  16. I was impressed by Busch Gardens Tampa. Despite the fairly young ride ops, they were cranking out trains even when there were minimal waits.
  17. The parabolic nature of this slide could make it interesting and a lot more thrilling than a tornado.
  18. Americans would not fit into those tiny trains. Dispatch times would be insane trying to figure out which restraint was not closed.
  19. There were numerous coasters on the China trip that had an upper limit on age, though I'm not sure if anyone was denied for it.
  20. With reduced NASA spending we may sadly be even further from coasters on the moon
  21. Sorry, I got mine, I just read my victim's name in the notification email. Thanks again for arranging this. Now it is shopping time!
  22. On the morning i went, I got rerides on everything but cheetah hunt. Well, except Gwazi, but that was by choice.
  23. Dauling Dragons! I can see it getting rougher, but the high five and other interactions were top notch!
