  1. ^^It was one of the most memorable stops of any of my 8 TPR trips. It was an absolute blast even though it was hotter than the surface of the sun the day we were there.
  2. Damn, all these trips sound amazing but since your first TPR trip there, I have always had my heart set on Japan. Hopefully it's in the cards for next year. I may try to sneak a second one in.
  3. Very nice. Are those flag/canopy things supposed to be anything? I sort of see a cheetah face in the blue one on the right.
  4. ^you forgot the blindfold. I always thought that the darkness was to hide he fact that most of the effects no longer worked. Kind of like disco yeti.
  5. I want that Gaston Mug! Too bad it looks like it's plastic so it wouldn't work well with coffee.
  6. What style train does this Space Mountain have? In the picture it almost looks like a long train, but that could just be multiple trains stacked in the station. Thanks for the report.
  7. This is actually in much BETTER shape than I would have expected. The rusting of the track looks fairly minor but i am guessing that chain could never be used again.
  8. I'm looking forward to seeing all this in a few weeks!
  9. ^Perhaps the third train needed some maintenance done so it couldn't be used?
  10. I really like a new logo. That is also quite the slide complex, combining all sorts of different slides.
  11. That's about the time between parks for me last year to this year. Next or me is a park in Beijing!
  12. Oh... Interesting. I wonder what their definition of "big things" is.
  13. I do not like companies spelling things wrong on purpose for no reason.
  14. Great addition! It's an excellent family attraction with only two others like it worldwide and it gets them a record to boot!
  15. Quite an extensive write-up for flyers! Fun addition to the park!
  16. I had no idea you had designed a coaster! Very cool.
  17. I went to OkBoulderFest on Saturday. The park gave us a tour of Wildcat. The park has been slowly replacing the structure with larger timber, and it looks like they really take good care of the coaster. This offseason (which already started for Wildcat) they hope to have the feat drop and part of the first turn rebuilt, but it's more than they can handle in house. They are also looking to get new trains. I am continually impressed by this park. The operations are friendly and efficient. The park was extremely clean. It is also obvious they really care about their rides. Portion park wants to replace (To the first flag) The turnaround anchor looks like it is anchored with two old tire rims.
  18. Love the name and I Love this type of spinner!
  19. But it's the best rock in Missouri!
  20. I think most of us have no problem when a rough coaster gets some topper track loving.
  21. BoulderDASHing through the snow... Could be interesting. Though of course it may not be one of the rides that is open and we may not have snow in December.
  22. Lake Compounce on Saturday, my first park of 2012.
  23. "Jumped the gun" usually means did something too soon (it's a reference to a starting pistol in races). It seems like the park wasn't ready to announce it yet, not that they aren't going to sell it.
