I'm glad I drove through this the last time I was there. The monkeys had already been fenced off so there was no damage. It was definitely unique and a bit frightening driving through there.

I am planning to go to the park on Saturday for OkBoulderfest so I have been keeping an eye on their Facebook page. I am sure the park is doing everything they can do to get Boulder Dash up and running since I am guessing this is a bit of a guest relations nightmare.

Does it happen normally? If you mean does it happen all the time, No. Is it national news worthy? No. Coasters shouldn't stall by design (with the possible exception of Discovery Kingdom's Superman ) but it does happen. I wonder what contributed to it here? Wind? Cold? Something on the track?

^I read somewhere that the wood was treated so as not to burn so easily, no idea on the validity of that "fact." I'm a bit sad to see DT go. It was a fun ride (from what I remember). I rmemeber one of my friends freaking out that there was no track once we got to the top of the lift.

I really love how all the heartache is over a classic non-coaster ride. This is what makes me love TPR

What the hell NBC? I went to msnbc, (now nbcnews.com) and the headline at the top of the page is results of the women's gymnastics that they will not be broadcasting till tonight. Way to f-ing spoil your own programming.

I really hate how NBC is broadcasting stuff in huge blocks it's really filling up the TiVo. I really did not to tape 4 hours of a bike race both Saturday and Sunday. Can't wait for more men's diving.

Anyone can take countless pictures of the same rides that we already have countless pictures of in the park index etc. I love Joey's take on parks, some rides and some great park food being shoved into his somehow not fat face (I hate you).

Wiping out on a beach with pounding surf can be quite painful. I have never tried surfing, but i have had my face and body ground into the sandy bottom underwater. Not fun for me, and no added fun for people watching since it occured underwater. At least wipeouts on the Flowrider can be watched and enjoyed by all the spectators.

I'm still sad that I didn't stop on my way to Hershey and meet the tour at Knoebels It looks like this day was an absolute blast. I am still amazed on your ability to find all the food you do. I will be at the same park as you on the same day (this time it was two days later) and every time you find the most amazing food that i seem to miss.

Wow, considering the location where the cable ended up, it is very lucky that no one was injured!

The Sky Coaster will be removed with the building of the Star Flyer. Wow. I would have thought they would have put it where Time Warp was rather than remove an attraction. Perhaps the skycoaster was no longer profitable?
