Anybody but me watch American Idol?
CoasterFanatic replied to Edwardo's topic in Random, Random, Random
Follow-up 4-19-05 - show Anthony Federov Again, he chooses a crap song. Member of the bottom 3 this week. Sorry Kip. Anwar Robinson Performed "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire, which happens to be one of my personal favorites. I didn't think it had quite as much vocal as the original, but he should be safe for this week. Bo Bice I didn't really think that "Vehicle" fit the theme, but they let him do it. Kind of a forgettable performance and it looks like the bottom 3 for Bo. Carrie Underwood Suprised me by selected "MacAuthur Park" by Donna Summer. Not the biggest smash by the Queen of Disco, but Carrie is pretty much untouchable at this point. Safe. Constantine Maroulis Did "Nights on Broadway". Not the best selection, but at this point he is untouchable. All the 13 yr olds have his number on speed dial. Safe. Scott Savol "Everlasting Love" was one of Scott's better performances, but at this point he is just a dead man walking. Bottom 3 again this week. Vonzell Solomon Picked the perfect song ("I'm every woman"), and should be safe this week. Enjoy the break from the bottom 3. You deserve it. I have Steel Force shot, but unfortunately (or fortunately ... depends how you look at it), it is not from the front seat. Steel Force 2003 -
Following in the Kennywood footsteps: I was coaxed by my friends one time into playing the game where you through a small "sandbag" at the 3 cans and try to know them off the table. Well, I reared back and launched a speeding sandbag right at the game ops head. He dropped and the sandbag crashed into one of the stuffed animals on the wall knocking it down. As he got up in horror, we all hit the ground laughing. Now, anytime we see one of those games, they always try to get me to play. // Officially retired from the "knock crap off the table" game

I absolutely hate the Premier Retro-Fit Lap Bar. As a tall person it forces my back off the back of the seat, puts my legs in an uncomfortable position, and completely smashes my "Junk". The "Clamshell" is not the best for me either, because of the gaps between clicks. For me the most secure is probably the Intamin T-Bar, but I will always prefer the PTC "Buzzbar". // Thinking back to a better day when the Beast had a buzzbar and made it halfway up the second lift before falling back on the chain.

I have also always felt that if you ride one SLC or Boomerang, you should have a credit that you can use on any other. But ... you must touch the sign. J/K, but was it really such a bad idea. // Has passed up 2 Boomerangs and 1 SLC. Maybe I am not such a credit ho after all.

Not really wure about next year, but for the last two, RideWorld has done a trip that includes transportation. Another way: start making some friends in the US. There are many people who plan elaborate trip up and down the east coast.

Anyone know anything about wireless adapters?...
CoasterFanatic replied to Movieguy's topic in Random, Random, Random
^ Can you get into the web-based config for your wireless router. If not, I can't imagine that you will get it working. -
If you haven't bid on any of the RideWorld sponsored auctions, now is the time. I have donated a rare piece of coaster history to one of the auctions, and encourage anyone that is interested to place their bids today. Ebay Auction #6526350632 Steel Phantom Horsecollar This piece along with 2 tickets to Kennywood (donated by RideWorld.com) are up for auction until Apr-24-05 20:00:00 PDT. All proceeds from this and all the other RideWorld auctions are to benefit Tim Getchell, a RideWorld member and coaster enthusiast that was recently diagnosed with cancer. To read more about Tim and his fight, visit his online diary at: www.caringbridge.com

^ Turn off WEP encryption and see if it works. Usually the inability to connect to a wireless router is one of two things: - WEP Encryption - MAC Address Restrictions It is always best to start wide open and then tighten up your security once everything operates correctly. -

^ I would also contact tech support, but try this before you do: On the back of your Router their should be a small reset button. Press it for about 30 seconds and restore the default settings. That is the first thing that tech support will tell you to do, but it will take them 1/2 hour to get that far. 90% of the time it fixes it. -
My brother just got hauled away by the cops

The extent of the injury is probably the biggest factor in the punishment. He isn't going to do any time. -
^^^ Just living up to my reputation. Anyway, as a recovering credit ho, I am still trying to find a way to count: Log Jammers First Generation Freefalls and Pretzel Dark Rides I mean, "why not!". - Powered by Gravity - Complete Circuit - Wheels - Lift - Drops If you count "Leap the Dips", then what's the difference? // Sitting back and watching where this one goes

I can also vouch for the no BGT on Saturdays. I used to live right off of Busch Blvd and used to curse traffic there every Saturday during the summer. The park is very popular with the locals, and they all have passes (Florida Fun Card = Cheap Fun all summer). The best advice I could give you is to try and avoid any of the parks on Saturday, but if you have no choice, do IOA. Make sure you show up early and if the money doesn't bother you, then buy the Express thingy. // Visiting the Florida parks on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on my Memorial Day weekend trip

The shot in the tunnel says it all. I cannot wait for this ride. If it tracks half as good as it looks, this thing is going to be unbelievable.
