  1. Of course, I am sure at least a couple people here have rode coasters in the Netherlands. But seriously, if you count NL, I am counting credits gained through watching Robb's POVs.
  2. Excellent TR. I have had a great experience every time I have visited that park, and your trip sounds "par for the course" of what has become the average visit there. // What! No Nessie?
  3. Cool. I have been thinking of sponsoring a very informal "Day at Strickers" for one of the public days (but not July 4th). I will let everybody know if it works out. // How does a dog have that credit and I don't?
  4. ^ Don't believe everything that you see. Photoshop is an Marketing Dept's best friend.
  5. ^ I can't imagine that Cypress Gardens is anywhere near the attendance levels of Animal Kingdom. Not even close. On the B&B tip, I visited the park around '87 or so, and I absolutely loved the place. My Dad took me, and while he is not a big theme park fan, he loves baseball and it was his idea to begin with. They had a most excellent Arrow flume that is now operating at Sea World Texas. // Remembers eating at the Perkins across the street, watching one of the last remaining buildings burn to the ground.
  6. wdwmagic is probably using some sort of "lmhosts" file to prevent image leeching. Try downloading them and them posting. Give credit of course. BTW. Great Photos // I love Geodesic Domes
  7. ^ The Swan and Dolphin did not open till a few years after Epcot opened. I remember seeing them under construction on my first visit in 1988.
  8. ^ & ^^ I noticed this on my last trip to Orlando at the end of October. I know that is normally a very popular "holiday" time for Europeans, but the percentages were way off the norm. // The ACE trip to Japan is costing Boku money for this reason
  9. In terms of intensity, Dominator definately takes the cake. But, for overall performance, I will take Kraken any day. I simply love the drop into the second vertical loop.
  10. No problem. All the waits except Darkastle should be in the walkon to 15 minute range.
  11. The thing that irks me is that the image for SFGAdv is newer on the web than it is in Keyhole. ... and I had to pay for Keyhole.
  12. My rarest are probably: Little Dipper - Kennywood (Removed for Raging Rapids) Thunderbolt Express - Camden Park I consider a coaster rare if it isn't in Robb's count.
  13. If you search back through some of the early "Ask Alvey" threads you will most likely find all the answers your looking for. Welcome to the site.
  14. That doesn't even look right. Especially when you compare it to: http://www.pki.com/visit/visit_calendar.cfm
  15. Current Last Coaster: Face Off - PKI Next Coaster: Phoenix - Knoebels
  16. I really dig the Maurer spinning mouse and this thing looks every bit as good. Really gotta add SFNE to my list for this summer. While SF isn't installing many coasters this year, aren't they putting in like 500 ProSlide Tornados?
  17. I was going to mention the holy handgrenade, but I couldn't think of a aaaggghhhh ...
  18. I feel pretty much the same way. I convinced myself about a year ago that I would never get to ride one of those things. // kept my promise so far
  19. ^ "Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate" Just had to throw in a quote there. Definately Holy Grail! // I really did dig Time Bandits though.
  20. What's funny is that my mother is very picky about coasters, but anytime she goes to Kennywood, she rides Thunderbolt. She is 62, but she taught middle school for 38 years so she is pretty TOUGH!
  21. I still bet 100x more Americans rode those 2 than this one: http://www.rcdb.com/id2601.htm
  22. Agreed there. I have heard that the new Barbecue Place outside the Bluestreak entrance is pretty good. I usually opt for "Macaronis". It is a sit down joint, but the prices are pretty much in line with the counter service eateries. Plus, they got a mean Cheesesteak.
  23. Nostradamus delivers and no one speaks a word. Even I am weirded out by this. // Driving to the horse track as we speak
  24. They are still working on the Starf**ks at PKI, and the Chik-Fil-A on the park map is still Magilla Gorillas. Starbucks will be a great addition for those mornings that I am standing by the rope waiting to run to a broken down Hypersonic. I, for one, welcome our caffeine weilding overlords.
