  1. ^ Sorry to hear about the wreck. It is kind of weird that the 125 is the only dirt bike that i have ever rode. Would love to get trail bike someday. I had a lot of fun on it. Anyone else?
  2. I really like the floorless concept, but it doesn't really make a huge difference anywhere but the front. Also, the 1st drop on Kraken is probably my favorite floorless moment.
  3. After pulling the cover off of it and changing the plugs, I fired up my bike last night for the first ride of the year. Just wondering ... anybody else ride?
  4. ^ It is a little difficult to give good advice without first having the experience. BTW. You couldn't walk a quarter of the way around the park in 5 minutes.
  5. Ghostly Manor (Haunted Attraction) http://www.ghostlymanor.com Merry-Go-Round Museum http://www.merrygoroundmuseum.org and you're over 21 so .... Put-In-Bay http://www.putinbay.com/
  6. Something about the way these numbers are recorded must definitely favor Beach Parks. Morey's is almost always in the top 10.
  7. This 80's video game logo trend is really catching on. Will Everest's look like "Dig-Dug"?
  8. Cesaris Pizza - Knoebels Potato Patch - Kennywood Mrs Knotts Chicken - Knotts German Platter - BGW Anything at Dollywood
  9. I am still luggin around this dinosaur and i love it. http://www.dvspot.com/reviews/sony/trv17-review/index.shtml // Please, Please fix the image uploader.
  10. Still waiting for a good source to confirm. I don't want to believe it yet. "I don't have a microwave ... but i do have a clock that occasionally cooks sh*t." - M.H.
  11. This is nothing new. Have you ever seen Riverview Park's answer to an ejected passenger.
  12. Tough question. I love records that you can listen to from beginning to end with no desire whatsoever to skip a song. Here are a couple that come to mind right now: Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime Foo Fighters - The color and the shape Rush - Moving Pictures Oingo Boingo - Dead Mans Party Stevie Wonder - Songs in the Key of Life Beach Boys - Pet Sounds Beatles - Sgt Peppers, Rubber Soul, Revolver AcDc - High Voltage Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf Son Volt - Trace Beastie Boys - Pauls Boutique Run DMC - Raising Hell Ramones - S/T Bad Religion - No Control Danzig - S/T .. plus many more
  13. Head to Hyper first, but make sure that you ask an employee if it will be open. I went last year and we waited with about 40-50 people at the rope by Hyper, only to find out it was closed when we got there. I usually go for Volcano late in the day. It just makes a better night ride anyway. Try to do the drop ride early too. Their lines can also get a little lengthy. During the day you can usually get on the following with little trouble. Bobsleds Anaconda Grizzley (If it's running 2) Hurler Shockwave (If you must) Scooby Ghoster Coaster (or whatever they call it these days) Rebel Yell I have also noticed that sometimes Flight of Fear will get pretty quiet at the end of the day. I will usually stand by the exit for a minute or two and then compare the capacity with the line waiting. If you stand there for 5 minutes and nothing comes out. Assume 1 train and rediculous waits.
  14. Nice portable camera. While I see the convenience of a small camera, it seems like holding it steady would be a b**ch. Am I wrong?
  15. I don't want to even think about how much bandwidth this site uses in a month. 50 Megs videos Lots of pictures Discussion Thread laden with 100k pictures. I am guessing what .... 10-20 gig a day?
  16. Another fave is the Kangaroo at Kennywood. I forget the generic name of that one.
  17. That other thread was during Solace so I completely missed it. May I add that this is not a good subject to talk about when your hungry. Kennywood Fries Kennywood Dipped Cones w/ Nuts German Platter at BGW Knoebels Chicken Fries Cesaris Pizza I could be here all day
  18. My only visit to Wild Adventures was on Cheeta's opening day. There was no event going on, and actually the park wasn't very crowded at all (looked like rain all day). I got about 5 rides on it that day and it was great. I even managed a rain ride or two. It saddens me to hear how bad the coaster has gotten. Hopefully all is well after the trackwork.
  19. ^ I know we are coasterfans and all, but I see the replacement of a Mouse coaster with a one-of-a-kind dark ride (at about 10x the cost) progress. It might not be a coaster, but I am sure it will be cool. // Since I rode the mouse in both locations, can I count it twice (Man ... I got a lot of credit whore scenarios popping up this week)
  20. ^ It is rotting away along with the Jack Rabbit. If Clementon has a good year with their new coaster, look for them to spend some of the proceeds ... tearing down the Jack Rabbit.
