  1. ROTFLMAO!!!! And to really confuse you, I'm gay, but hate erasure, Barbara Striesand, and Rosie O'Donnel, and I think Tom Cruise is one of the ugliest men on earth. Damn. I thought I had it all figured out. Do you like the Pet Shop Boys? // Hope this all in good fun, for I too like Erasure. "How can I explain when there are few words I can choose" Chains of Love - Erasure
  2. ^ Did 2 trips and had trouble hitting them both times. Speaking of shooting games, does anyone else have a competive spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend that goes to the extent of covering the end of your gun?
  3. Like I stated in the other thread right below Elissa: Jack Rabbit - Double Down // I also dig the 5th drop on Raven. "Death Drop" = not cool
  4. That is really weird. I too, am planning on being in Florida that Weekend. Right now it looks like it will be something like this: Sunday: BGT Monday: Epcot or CG/Old Town Tuesday: Clearwater Wednesday: Adventure Island
  5. The gold pass parking got me too. Don't feel bad, I too had turn around a drive around the the white poles to find the entrance. I also noticed that the employees were very kind. Some were pretty clueless, but that kind of comes with opening weekend. At the least the crowds were cooperative. I noticed several of the ride ops doing on the job training for others. My quick points. - Wow, Italian Job looks small from the outside - 2 visable trains on Italian Job - They were testing sound effects on Saturday - The train I rode on "The Beast" had to have all of it's restraints manually released (several times) - The second row on FoF was kind of a beater - Don't bother looking for Chic-Fil-A. It isn't open - IJ is still themed to a pile of dirt - The Beastie is so much fun, but my knees hate it - Vortex running 3 trains - Tomb Raider still breaks down a lot - The guns on Scooby are getting a little tougher to score with - Face-Off is primed and ready for paint, but still running // Sorry to add my mini-tr but I didn't have enough to really warrant another
  6. ^ Funny, I was just discussing with Catrina this morning that most negative TRs start the same way. "I entered the park at 2pm on a Saturday" Having just got back from PKI's opening weekend, I can understand some of people's gripes. I have gone to PKI since I was a kid, and once I started traveling around more and more PKI lost a little something. The Beast isn't the big bad monster I built it to after my first ride and some of the other ride experiences in the park are not the top of their class by far. With that said; I still enjoy my visits to PKI, because I have come to appreciate it for what it is, and most people who go there do the same.
  7. Interesting idea, but I have always found ... "Those who know don't tell and those who tell don't know"
  8. I can only really offer the same advice that is mentioned over and over. Avoid Saturdays, and the Come EARLY! // Thanks for the plug, Elissa. I need input. More input.
  9. ^ Jack Rabbit would be my "any" drop also. I there was ever a coaster were every drop made you feel as good as that one, if would be one hell of a ride.
  10. My defunct/dismantled/relocated list Corkscrew (Myrtle Beach Pavilion) - My First Corkscrew Corkscrew (Geauga Lake) King Cobra (Kings Island) Little Dipper (Kennywood) - My First Coaster Laser Loop (Kennywood) - My First Vertical Loop Whirlwind (Knoebels) Wild Maus (Busch Gardens Williamsburg) - Rode it in both locations Thunderbolt Express (Camden Park)
  11. I saw this today also. I am hoping to make it up there for the annual "Clean-up Day". If anyone is in the area, and wants to help CLP clean up for the new season, the dates are 4/30 and 5/1. // No .... we will not clean the gum off of Devil's Den
  12. Tsunami. It is the Millenium Force 1st Drop of Woodies. // I just have trouble calling it J2
  13. ^ I can't wait to see this. Hopefully the little bakery that had coffee and pastries and stuff will still be around.
  14. ^ That is awesome. Do you know what time. I am going to be at the park around 3pm or so, and will be coming back the next morning.
  15. Hersheypark does get crowded at peak times of the year, but it is usually pretty managable. Like everyone else always preaches (because it's true), get there early. A good plan of attack is to get Comet, Storm Runner and Great Bear out of the way first. Sooperdooper, Lightning Racer, Wildcat, and Trailblazer are usually pretty managable anytime during the day. However, Trailblazer can get a little interesting if they run one car.
  16. My grades. I got lazy and copied Robb's list and made my changes. He has been on every one that I have been on and more. 17. ^ Is young enough to be my kid. << Doesn't have any children, but did have a psychotic cat at one time.
  18. ^ Glad to know I belong to the minority. Don't be ACE hating. // Western PA ACE Member

  20. ^^ [geekmode] Partially correct. Terminal Velocity is achieved when the force of an object is equal to the wind resistance. No one speed can be attributed to Terminal Velocity as different objects with differentcharacteristics have different Terminal Velocities. 120 mph is sort of the benchmark for a human freefalling with arms and legs stretched out. [/geekmode] Whe is the last time you got hit with a 120mph raindrop? It certainly fell more than 456 ft.
  21. I can't see this guy picking up Bond-style women, but then again Roger Moore looked about 95 years old in Octopussy.
