  1. That's what I meant. I always get my cold/inhabitable locations mixed up.
  2. ^ It is at least 90 degrees. I think the shot is taken at a bad angle.
  3. 5 votes and 3 comments? Someone is not playing by the rules. Please do not vote unless you plan on "meeting". If you plan on meeting, then be sure to post some comments.
  4. ^ I am pretty certain that it was only for the force in the backseat. The backseat on that ride is excellent.
  5. ^ Looks like Kings Dominion will be doing it this Sunday also (according to their site). Crap! Oh well ... we'll see what happens.
  6. ^ There hasn't been much story since around 92-93
  7. ^ They sure did. It was something like this: - There was a company called "Dispatch Master Transport" - You were touring the facilities and a robot greeted you and gave you a speil - The robot was a working animatronic and looked a little like the Alien Encounter (WDW) figure - You toured two seperate themed queues (forgot the first and then the workshop) - You were to board a vessel on it's way to Canada (smuggling coke or something) - Somewhere along the way, everything went wrong until you eventually "crashed" at the end // Any similarity between the contents of this ride and Star Tours is completely coincidental and not intended. No animals were hurt in the posting of this message.[/img]
  8. Typically Sunday is better. Especially if you get there early. If you visit a park in the bible belt on Sunday, it will be dead till 1pm or so. On Memorial Day weekend, the Sunday thing won't help as much.
  9. They sell prismatic glasses for like $1 a pair, but they are pretty worthless. Changes: - Less effects work - There is no storyline - The queue has shrunk (they do a spookhouse in some of it) - It is much more disco It is pretty ghetto these days. Reminds me of a roller skating rink from the early 80's.
  10. That would be a good idea. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=323&highlight=songs // They don't call me the resident smart-ass for nothing
  11. Since there has been talk of a meet-up in Florida, I was kind of curious what type of gathering would be preferred. Please only vote if you plan on attending the meet, and of course leave your comments after you vote.
  12. ^^ Ed Wood movies are almost like cheating. I love his fanciful use of stock footage. It makes absolutely no sense.
  13. Hey ... what are you trying to say
  14. Before this goes too far south, just know that Paula has addressed the enthusiast community regarding the lawsuit, and hopes that everyone will kind of "play it cool" regarding the events that happened that night. While you are still free (it is your right) to speak your mind, do realize that someone is probably reading it.
  15. "That's the machine that goes PING. It let's you know that you baby is still alive." Next: Back to School
  16. Show up at the gates at least a half-hour before opening, and ride all the most popular attractions first. Start with the low-capacity ones. These words hold true for almost every park, but especially for IOA/Universal. Go here (http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/search.php and search "Universal". You will find a lot of tips as this subject has already been tackled a few times.
  17. Contact brian.peters@mindspring.com, and he will fix you up.
  18. It is only possible with steel support or a tunnel of course.
  19. ^ In some aspects ... yes I have a whole other category for movies that suck so bad that they are good. Napoleon and Freddie Got Fingered immediately come to mind.
  20. ^ Thieves // Now you know and knowing is half the battle
  21. ^ Yep. Even though you guys will have a two day jump on us. No details yet, but I will be at BGT on Sunday 5/29. Too bad that you guys can only tape during the week at BGT. I know where every Carrabbas is in the Tampa metro area. UPDATED: Added link to meet vote (be democratic) http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1654
  22. Facts: Her lapbar never released Her seatbelt was unbuckled She was in the last row of the train What I have always wanted to know is how anybody knew she was standing up? // remembers hearing somewhere that technically the seatbelt *IS* the primary restraint
  23. Er ... That has to be more than 90 degrees. http://www.thegravitygroup.com/hades/pages/47.htm // Been hearing 93, but who knows
  24. Big wheel go boom ... hit head ... close ride ... we wait.
  25. ^ That would be Blackfoot. // I am a music nerd
