Still working on the TR and a possible review of DarKastle, but in the meantime .... Here are some photos: Contrary to some reports, the locals are completely amazed by this ride. There is more people watching than riding. New for 2005. Tomb Raider Firefall. Guess this answers that Paramount/Chik-Fil-A open on Sunday question! Nagashima patrons invade PKD! While some parks are finally getting the single rider concept, Busch takes a step backwards. Lift, Brake, Loop, Brake, Lift, Brake, Brake ... Done. Look Mom! Naked lady statue! Not just the prettiest, but the best Arrow suspended ride in the US. With the second trim off, Apollo was screaming over the last hills. Excellent! After the HARD brake, we hope not to stall before getting back to the station. BGW preserves coaster history Who do you think we are? Disney? New for 2005. The Curse of DarKastle. Don't worry. Once we get inside the gates, it's only another HOUR!

Back from coastering at SoCal!

Good TR. Your trip actually sounded a lot like mine this spring. Personally, I kind of enjoyed JTA at San Diego, but it is definately a much "Different" ride than it's Florida counterpart. // What? No Belmont Park? -
"Get your hands off of me you damn dirty ape!" <-- Obvious Next: Cannonball Run

"Can you drive?" "With or without the boot?" "You're our guy" Next: Welcome to the Dollhouse

Cedar Point now testing with people
CoasterFanatic replied to Frade's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ I think it was some kind of "claw", but there was a ride at the Florida State Fair a couple years ago the came pretty darn close. It was much further than the rotation on Huss Giant Frisbees. -
Copy A Coaster
CoasterFanatic replied to Coasterlicious's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Most people don't care. 90+% of the people who go to SFGAdv have never been to Cedar Point in their lives and they don't worry about the fact that they have a similar coaster. They just know that they have an extreme machine right in their backyard. // Give me more copies of the "Flyers" please -
Scary that I know this, but actually Pauly's count is around the 680ish range. At least as of a couple months ago. It is reference in the latest RollerCoaster mag. But, who really knows how he counts coasters. The truly sad thing is how many coasters I have drove by in my lifetime. Dania Beach Hurricane (was with non-coaster people going to Miami) Cliffs in NM (it was 30 degrees outside) I have also passed up a couple SLCs and Boomerangs. I figure it gives me a reason to go back. Not the coaster, but the credit

Silly question but where do you get ToyBox albums...

If it is a matter of security, use PayPal and always check the feedback. -
Just ask him the same question you asked here. He is the Membership Director and Webmaster. He can help.

That really is the best advice. Take you time, and dine at the "sit-down" restaurants. Others: - Walk around World Showcase at night - Ride the Carousel at MK - Buy the silly "Ears". You might be suprised at the attention you get - Ride "El Rio de Tiempo" in Mexico - Watch "Wishes" from the wooden walkway/bridge in Frontierland - Typhoon Lagoon is probably the best water park for the honeymooning couple - Get lost behind the crowd on Tom Sawyer's island (But, don't do anything naughty ) - Ride the TTA - Ride the Train

Avoid: Magic Kingdom: Monday, Saturday & Sunday Epcot: Wednesday & Friday Disney-MGM Studios: Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday Animal Kingdom: Monday, Tuesday & Friday I only have one 4th of July experience (2002 I believe), and it was insane. They turned us around at the Magic Kingdom parking lot and gave us a flyer saying the park was filled to capacity and to check out this other stuff. We went over to Epcot, parked, and took the monorail to the Magic Kingdom. When we got there, there was a line of about 30 people waiting to be let in. They let a person go in for every person that left and we were inside in about 2-3 minutes. The park was really packed but still kind of managable if you know the line patterns and how to use FastPass to it's maximum value. The fireworks were also worth the crowd.

Cedar Point now testing with people
CoasterFanatic replied to Frade's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I always liked the term "rehersal" than "testing" when people are riding it. "Testing" just sounds a little scary. -

It's kind of funny the names you will use on games. If anyone ever plays Halo2 online, look for me. I'm "DesignerTrout"

Semi-Official Florida Meet

I completely forgot to add food options. Oh well, maybe next round. I do know a couple out of the way places around there. One, in particular, that has great Chinese food. -
I started to use it for posting around 1999 and bought the domain in 2000. Don't really know where it came from, but most call me "coasterfanatic ted" since there is a couple others out there. // Don't know the facts but hope that I am the OC "Original Coasterfanatic"
