From what I hear the humidity in Florida is hell for wooden roller coasters making maintenance a pain in the ass. Plus while this does not apply to Orlando necessarily, wooden coasters also tend to be very loud so it would not quite work in any of the California parks if you go by their logic thus far. It would also be difficult to theme a wood, again due to the fact that they are so loud, you would not be able to hear any of the sound effects you usually hear on Disney attractions.

^^ You my good man, are a good father lol. I don't find this surprising in the least, but I find it odd that its a height restriction and not an age restriction type dealio. Hopefully this will limit the amount of deaths that occur in wave pools... Not that there were many to begin with.

I think it would make perfect sense if they took the year off as far as dvd's go. With the trip planning, the trip taking and most importantly, KidTums, I just can not see them having enough time to put a dvd together. Of course I have been wrong before .

The various definitions of an inversion all have one key phrase in common: UPSIDE-DOWN. Yes, the inline-twist on S:UF flips riders 180 degrees horizontally but a true "inversion" must flip riders vertically upside-down according to the definition. Thank you for your opinion, but please read the definition before you interpret it. Why must you be vertically upside down? Either way your upside down, which is all that really matters.

I get the same feeling on Silver Bullet's helix. While I don't find it to be a wonderful feeling, I think its perfectly normal.

Of course its an inversion, you flip over 180* which is the definition of an inversion..

It was in the "helix" before the corkscrews I believe, and that accident was most likely suicide in my opinion...

If that is indeed true, its great to see that the park has been so original when it comes to the naming of their rides. "Beast, Son of Beast" "Bat, Return of the Bat", lol..

How tradgic is it that the boy probably died while his mother got a tan? I think people need to have more respect for not only wave pools but all amusement rides. I have been knocked over more than once by a wave that I was not expecting. If the child was dragged out too far by the waves... its very likely he could not keep his head above water. I hope the family does not get any money out of the boys death.

I have a feeling there is more to this story than meets the eye. I'm pretty sure the lady knew that it was dangerous to go to get the shoe... I just can not figure out why she would do it... My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

It almost sounds like your saying, you hate kids who try to acheive something . I have never been in a public school (homeschooled all my life) but it seems that the reason grades are dropping has little to do with MySpace and much to do with the kids on MySpace..

Hopefully, I will be making a trip to USH on the 31st of July. I didn't realize it was so expensive!

I really enjoy the S&S Screaming Swings, very fun rides and extremely intense!

I would say Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, it looks like the best ride there.
