  1. This park has something special about it, although I cant put my finger on it.... But I have to say this is the ONLY Six Flags park that my family as a whole really enjoyed. The park has a great atmosphere and very good Roller Coasters. They have RUNNING flats and there are the animals. Its a great park (at least for Six Flags standards) and I am glad that Shapiro is taking intrest in it.
  2. Argh I hate this kind of thing. These "money-hungry lawsuit-happy families". Its like they have nothing better to do with there lives then sue people for no cause. I saw the video and I can not see any way that a good judge or jury (Or whatever it is they'll use in this kind of case) will let this stand. Or at least we can only hope...
  3. *Awkwardly stands at the podium* Hey my name is Jake, I am fifteen years old and a sophmore in highschool. I live in Southern California and my home park is Knotts or Magic Mountain or the Disneyland Resort although my closest is Knotts (which I already posted somewhereelse but I felt needed to be said in this post). My favorite roller coaster is Medusa at Six Flags Marine World. My favorite designer is B&M. I think thats pretty much it.... -Jake
  4. no Have you been to over 10 Six Flags?
  5. ^ I have to agree. This ride will stick out like a sore thumb. I have been to Marine World and I drastically prefer the Yellow paint job to the red. To those who think red fits better with the "Theme" I am wondering what theme you are reffering to? V2 is in the front midway area. There is no real 'theme' per-say. If that is not true then please tell me otherwise
  6. Oh yes the Gravity Group goodness This ride (as with all GG's) I am quite sure will be amazing! By taking a look at Bullet's older brothers (Voyage and Hades) this ride is going to be amazing! I will be following the construction for this ride very closely. Thanks for the great photo's coasterphoto they are appreciated.
  7. I live in Southern California, My home park could be considered any of the following. Disneyland-45 minutes Knotts Berry farm-45 minutes Magic Mountain- An hour and a half. So I live pretty close to three reasonably good parks. My Disneyland Resort annual pass just expired and I will be purchasing a Cedar Fair Maxx pass on Saturday. Six Flags is a once a year deal since I can not drive and it is not very close to my house (at least from my parents standpoint).
  8. Great update! From these pictures it looks like it will deliver a heck of a ride. However I am not sure if I am sold on the color scheme yet. It just seems a little bland to me.....
  9. ^ I hear you man. The 'roughest' wood I have been on would have to be Grizzly. The roughest steel however could be boomerang at SFMW. But I would more consider that forceful not rough. Perhaps even Kong, that ride is semi-rough Either way the roughest roller coaster I have ever been on would have to be Grizzly.
  10. Well I waited an hour for Grizzly and was VERY excited. They were only one train which I thought the ride would make up for. Trust me it didn't. It was extremely rough and very slow. Now rough to me may not be rough for another. It was slow and just not fun.... I would not recomend this ride unless you really want your credit. I remember riding it and thinking. "Lets go ride Demon again its way smoother" (Which for those of you who don't know is an arrow) Anyway there is my little review on Grizzly. It is at the bottom of my list right below Psyclone at SFMM.
