^^ Nine years ago.... that was quite some time ago and the park has really cleaned up since then in my opinion. I know that it does not happen often anymore that is exactly what I was saying. The general feeling however is that there are many gang related incidents at the park. I know it does not happen often but people have it stuck in there heads that its not a safe place to be.....

That would be a poor idea since they use the Psyclone trains for Colossus backwards...

I don't want to make another thread for the identical question sooo... I will be going June 25-27 So thats three days in the park (all weekdays). What will the crowds like? As a bonus question I was thinking about hitting Geauga Lake for one of those days. I have never been to either park so is it worth missing a day at Cedar Point to go to Geauga Lake?

Steel for sure. I like you Robb used to love the woodies (more because I was to scared to go on the steel ones haha) . But as of right now steel rules all, more height more speed and inversions to round it all off. Yes steel pretty much rules in my book although I love a good woodie now and again..

I have to agree that the park is not as bad as it is made out to be. However the view on the park is that people are consistently shot in the parking lot (funny how these rumors start). So whether or not these rumors hold true they are going to keep people out of the park with this kind of reputation....

Sorry, was a bit testy when I wrote that I suppose. I could not dis agree that the ride is the most popular in the park. But I am quite sure that Six Flags did not anticapate spending so much on a ride that was originally priced far less. They honestly don't have the money for this kind of crap to be happening to their rides (not that they could have afforded X at its original price either hehe). I pity Six Flags...it seems all the bad stuff happens to them

That is really starting to sound like a broken record... we all know exactly what they need to do. Now its all up to Shapiro and the Six Flags crew to execute perfectly. Even with new kids areas I think it will take a good five years to get familys out to the park again. I doubt my family will ever go to Magic Mountain together due to its poor reputation for gangs and the like.... So they need to work on the bad reputation that they have as being the 'gang park' in order to get families there... Think about it would you taker your five year old to a place where you were afraid he/she might get shot?

I couldn't believe that this ride was that horrible but after seeing the Psyclone comparisons I guess its a pretty safe bet . I'm usually not one to judge trains or coasters before I get on them so based on looks I think the G trains look pretty cool. (Obviously looks are not everything). My heart goes out to you Son of Beast, who knows you might have been treated better under Six Flags

1. No need to be a jerk. 2. I think that sounds like a good name ( better than X anyway ) Maybe if they somehow threw some more overused Batman theming it would be better than its current state. I honestly think that Six Flags is done with spending money on this cash whore. They will probably just fix it and be done with it....

X first for sure, then hit up Tatsu and work around the left side of the park like Brent said. I would choose 8-10 coasters you HAVE to get on and then fill the others in if you have time.

I'm not quite familiar with this park...is it actually a zoo? If so I want a zoo like that in my area!
