  1. That looks really great. I'm still having a hard time believe that he's gone. It just seems so weird, no more CP PTR's, nothing, its over... Life isn't fair.
  2. This is terrible.. I felt like I knew him from reading his posts. It really shows you how short life is. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. R.I.P Masked_Maverick
  3. Alright, I go tomorrow - shoot me a pm if you can make it. Whether anyone can or not I'll post a PTR!
  4. ^ lol. Let me clarify, will anyone from ThemeParkReview be there?
  5. I'll be at USH for the first time in ten years on Tuesday, and was wondering if any other TPR members were going to be there. -Jake
  6. So does X, and you have the option to put your articles on the unloading platform.
  7. If you think about it, Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster have a similar policie. Therefore forcing you to use the lockers or leave loose articles with a non-riding member of your party. I find it funny how there is a whole thread about this when the exact same thing is being done at Cedar Point, not surprising, but funny.
  8. X's crew has really picked up the ball as far as capacity is concerned. Kudos to them for really kicking it up a notch on a coaster infamous for being a pain to operate! If you think about it Six Flags has really cleaned up their act over the past year or so. I'm starting to enjoy Six Flags parks more than Cedar Fair parks.
  9. 95* drop, 2 launches with one being 70 miles an hour. Sure its no Top Thrill Dragster as far as gimmicks go but they could squeeze a gimmick out of it if they wanted to! It's also my number one coaster, from start to finish its one hell of a ride!
  10. Damn right, with you no less! Do you own a Canon Powershot?
  11. You know what they say, ignorance is bliss .
  12. It has been open the three times I've been there. I just can't see them taking that out... Anything is possible I suppose.
  13. Great job! I can't tell you how much I enjoy these comics, and the animations are very well done as well. Keep up the good work!
  14. Removing Deja? Thats one of the best Vekoma's out there, why would they remove it?
  15. That sounds pretty awful, but it makes sense in a way. When a kid is getting paid minnimum wage you can tell him or her thousands of times to do something one way, and they'll do it another. Does any former/current employee know if they have an incentive program of some kind? I think that would help improve operations considerably.
  16. This gives me chills, just thinking about it *shudders*. I can't believe this kind of thing can go on in other countries..
  17. My God your such a baby! You need to accept what you have (had) and enjoy it. Not every park can afford to open 21 million dollar roller coasters, hell they couldn't even afford the rides they have (had) now! I'm sorry to see this park go, it looked like in a few years it would have been very nice. Oh well, thats life.
  18. I honestly couldn't care less about dating a girl who is obsessed with coasters like me. If she does thats fantastic, but if not there are *shock* other things to do on dates other than going to amusement parks.
  19. As the Incredibles taught us, "No Capes!". Great update, Jahan! I look forward to the next one .
  20. You know what they say "Beggers can't be choosers" .
  21. Let me think... Disney's California Adventure Disneyland Six Flags Magic Mountain Knott's Berry Farm Cedar Point Legoland Scandia Soon to come: Universal Studios Hollywood Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk A good year, I think!
  22. Great trip report, you had some fantastic shots of Griffon! I have to get to Busch Gardens soon to ride all these fantastic B&M's!
  23. When we went to Disneyland when I was little (or anywhere for that matter) if I got lost I was to find a lady with kids and tell her I lost my mom, or something to that effect. Of course I never got lost - I was too damn scared to leave my mom's side, but it would have been a good plan had I become lost. Moral of the story - keep an eye on your kids, and have a plan should they become lost.
  24. If it's "such a piece of crap" why would you want it there anyway? You either like the park and want it there, or you don't like the park and hope it stays closed. There's not much of a middle of the road option on something like this. And $25 isn't that much when its one of only FOUR existing parks in the entire state! Hell its 20 bucks for an all day wristband at the local Scandia, I would much rather pay the extra five dollars to go to WWW than, the alternative. I'm sure someone will buy it, the park has a lot of potential, and I'm sure it could be very successful as long as the weather stays good .
