  1. the Beast was said! By me the second post!! I did forget about Dragon Mountain, sure is one of the best
  2. I'm also on the eastern side in NJ, but my closest parks split because they are approximately the same distance: Six Flags Great Adventure- 1 hr. 30 minutes Dorney Park- 1 hr. 30 minutes
  3. ^wow that is a scary story, hope the guy's ok, gonna leave a major bruise. How is Outlaw by the way, never hear about it?
  4. awesome, Holiday World is up there in parks i want to visit, definitely looking forward to seeing more pics from there
  5. i've only been on a few, but the Beast is by far my favorite, hitting Boulder Dash in August so that could take it, and i loved PKD's Grizzly too, terrains are the best out there!
  6. awesome pictures, one of the many woodies i would like to ride, thanks for sharing!
  7. sounds like a nice trip man! Really enjoy the midwest parks, all have some kind of gems in them, thanks for sharing!
  8. ^freakin awesome ride! Chiller is still closed as well
  9. gotta go with CCI and GCI restraints, love em! As well as the Intamin U shaped restraints on El Toro, i thought they were quite comfy! Least is prolly Premier Rides lapbars (Chiller, Flight of Fear, etc), i like em better then the OTHR's but they're still bulky and can hurt
  10. people underestimated this thing, i went on it too nick and boy i have the same review, total insanity with NO NO NO letup, it really is riding a bull, Intamin built a winner
  11. i'll be heading back next summer with my Cedar Fair SP , i went here when it was six flags, and honestly i loved it when it was six flags, the renames are terrible, but i love the coasters there, so i'm excited
  12. ^agreed, what the heck is this? He was what made six flag's image last season, and to do this, not a big fan of this, or really good for six flags to do, if you like mr. six or not.
  13. ^agreed, just so much more theming, better food, plus i prefer Europe over Africa anyday, plus i just like BGE's big 2 beemers over Montu and Kumba (even though all 4 are in my top 10)
  14. i've been on quite a few B&M inverts, almost all in the US except western parks 1. Alpengeist 2. Montu 3. Top Gun: The Jet Coaster 4. DD- Ice 5. Talon 6. DD-Fire 7. Great Bear 8. B:TR clones
  15. nice TR, missed you @ my home park by a couple days, glad you did 2 days, it is a nice park . Looks like a fantastic 7 park trip, thanks for sharing!
  16. you're the man! What a trip, i wish i could do one of those, thanks so much for sharing your experience and opinions with us, photo tr of the year!!!
  17. Medusa is the best floorless, the original floorless, blew Kraken away anyway, black grips are beyond me and im sure superman will be back, obviously a signature part of that ride
  18. man they're making the ride even better, so sweet!
  19. this park has so much potential, i know they consider it more of an animal park, but they have SO MUCH ROOM! Man they could fit lots of rides and coasters in there, but i don't think that's what they're going for. These 2 rides are awesome, on Sky Screamer you go up and down, make sure you sit facing Niagara Falls because you can see the top of the falls from up there, and Dragon Mountain is my favorite arrow looper, so unique and lots of fun
  20. hmm I'm going to go with Gwazi @ BGA, even though they don't duel, they are 2 completely different woodies that give great experiences i think. Also Grizzly @ PKD, it's in the woods and has some great airtime moments, plus the tunnel gives a great head chopper moment, and it's in my top 5 for night ride experiences.
  21. looks like a nice little SF park, i've always wondered why Six Flags hasn't given Elitch Gardens much attention
  22. ^haha no video can really show it, that video is close but you really need to be on it to know what the ejector air is like, you do not get it on any other coaster, i gaurantee it, i've been on 148 coasters and none of them have given this much
  23. that's interesting say that WoF is a Cedar Fair park, and they are usually wonderfully operated. I was going to head there this summer but we decided not to, hopefully they fix some of these things up because it looks nice from pictures
  24. this is quite exciting! I'll be watching this, Gravity Group is making huge impacts for both big and small parks
  25. Superman: Ultimate Flight @ SFGADV last thursday
