  1. wow, 5-6 kids no adult, can't believe that, these accidents need to stop
  2. ^agreed, but i did get bored on it, DP is awesome and my #1 re-ride heaven, Talon should be your #100
  3. Chiller is still closed, and they most likely tear Chiller down, it's one of the public's favorite coasters, and many enthusiasts like it too, it always has lines
  4. want to, Great White looks like an awesome woodie
  5. man you're awesome, I love your reports so far, keep them coming!
  6. man this just makes me so happy, 2 divers in one year from different manufacturers, oh boy, awesome
  7. good stuff! Man that picture of Hydro's boat with the OTHR's, never seen that on a flume ride
  8. awesome report, love the comments on everything, great job
  9. so this year was dominated with Steel coasters, but despite the few (4) big wood coasters to debut, they all sound like they are winners, i know many of ushaven't been on all or any of these, but what do you think about them this year, which one would you hit up if you could? Or if you have been on em all, which is the best? El Toro is SFGAdv's monster Intamin wood coaster, has the steepest drop in the world and the most insane ejector airtime any coaster can give in the world (i've been on it), 188 feet tall and 4400 feet long http://www.rcdb.com/qs.htm?quicksearch=El+Toro Voyage is Holiday World's 3rd wooden coaster, Raven and Legend were built by CCI and Voyage is built by Gravity Group who is the company created after CCI went out of business. It is the 3rd longest woodie in the world and give a relentless ride through the woods, check it out! http://www.rcdb.com/qs.htm?quicksearch=Voyage Kentucky Rumbler is Beech Bend's new GCI woodie, GCI is known for Lightning Racer @ Hersheypark, Ozark Wildcat @ Celebration City, and Thunderhead @ Dollywood, along with some others. This is another great design apparently from GCI, as it goes through itself many times with many tight, highly banked curves! http://www.rcdb.com/qs.htm?quicksearch=Kentucky+Rumbler Thunderbird is Power Park's new GCI woodie, i think this is the first time that GCI has debuted 2 different woodies in the same year. Not many people know about this one, but it is different from KR, i watched a video of it today and it looks like the most airtime filled GCI out there, as usual it's twisted inside itself but has 4 tiny bunny hops towards the end of the coaster! http://www.rcdb.com/id2955.htm
  10. that is so strange and so dumb, almost as dumb as CF renaming the rides @ SFWoA to GL taking various names from other coasters @ CF parks
  11. ^agreed, we're representing the bull here, we've been on it, you NEED to ride this thing before making judgements, just no other way you can describe it
  12. i loved it when it was SFWoA, but i'm sure it's not bad now, just thought how pathetic it was how they renamed the coasters, i'll be returning there next season!
  13. i'm shooting for the midwest USA trip, haven't been to many of those parks, Japan won't work cause i'll be back in college, and Spain is possible, but we'll see
  14. thanks a lot for sharing that, prolly won't get the chance to go to denver so it's nice to see these, awesome stuff!
  15. usually where the coaster banks more i want to be on that side, if it's elements are highly banked towards the left i want the left, if right then right, always a thing i've had with all beemers
  16. ahh now we have two picture TR's of this beauty (mine is on page 3), this thing really is incredible and it's awesome how you got on it 13 times man lucky! Thanks for sharing your experience as well!
  17. geez after 4 years of rockets you would think these same problems would be resolved, hopefully Thorpe can get this thing operational for their guests ASAP
  18. I love hangtime, positive g's i like too, but going over the huge B&M inversions is just nasty, their elements are all so big and the hangtime is to die for, i prefer that, but positive g's are definitely loved by me too
  19. Floater=Nitro Ejector=El Toro and Superman: Ride of Steel (all 3 in their own ways)
  20. well the guys said they only wanted a car from it, they said they could work a deal if someone had interest in the entire coaster, so their's still some hope i believe
  21. Fire did nothing for me, the immelman's were nothing special after Talon's and Top Gun's @ PC, i just thought Ice was smoother and mix up the inversions better, i anticipated Fire more before riding but it didn't deliver
  22. prolly Shockwave @ SFGAm, rougher then GASM IMO, it's gone now though
