Have you ever had someone ask you...
IceDragon replied to MisterP's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
it depends on the person(s) attitude and the amount. one or two people i will most likely say yes to, but ridiculous groups (ie 4+) i will say no and get them to tell their friends to move back, even if it is just me. I hate it when people say things like (sorry for bad spelling, but if you live in England, then you truely know what its like) 'le' me an' mah maytz go in frunna yah!' that really pisses me off and i usually retaliate with the same mannerisms. if you refuse, it usually turns to verbal abuse and ends up with me complaining about the anti-social behaviour and getting them kicked out just as they were boarding the ride/getting to the front of the queue after waiting for about 2 hours. Its quite funny sometimes. however, if they ask politely (ie: please and thank you), then its most likely that i will. -
heh, i had a massive party with about 20 friends and we all got a tid-bit tipsy. then we got gatecrashed and chased after them with plastic knives. then we nearly got caught by the police, so we went back and started a karioke (sp?) competition. Also managed to do my first ever: B&M Dive B&M Fly Launched coaster Vekoma dark-ride (amazingly good) an Intense topspin (not the wimpy one at Chessington WoA) a true spinning wild mouse (yeah i kinda went to AT over the summer holidays. i wonder what this year holds...)

Best and Lamest Coaster "Ending"
IceDragon replied to Teddymonster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Great Nemesis Inferno: high-G turns! Colossus: anti-clockwise inline twist (i hate them, but it really freaks me out) Green Scream: a really sharp turn at about 20 mph! Rattlesnake: lovely sharp brakes after a super-massive airtime hill (and im being serious) all the coasters in Tivoliworld Malaga: sharp brakes! Oblivion: great airtime before the brakes Spinball Whizzer: great use of speed, misdirection and turns before the brake run. i hate the effing re-entry thingy though... Air: wtf was that? a huge boulder! wow! sweet! Nemesis: cant remember how it ended, i think i blacked out at various points... im sure it was good though! poor Mighty Mini Mega: pointless break run much? (duh, its a pinfari!) Vampire: wow. block breaks in a building thats really quite dark, with a disco light :\ Rita QoS: long break run Corkscrew: Vekoma + brake run = unimaginable pain (come to think of it, Vekoma=hell... even the trains on The Vampire kill you, but the tracks so smooth) -
well: from Father Christmas (yes i still believe lol) 1) Scene It? DVD game 2) Stay Alive DVD (THE VEKOMA OF DVDs! it sucks though, no blood or gore not even a decent end) 3) Family Guy Season 3 (yummy!) 4) 2gig USB key (tid-bit random) 5) Bec by Darren Shan (awesome story-writer) 6) Cradle of Filth's Thornography album (love it!) From family and friends 1) A T-shirt with 'I'm not fat. I'm pregnaunt' written along the chest 2) Weights 3) Resident Evil: Apocalypse DVD (love those movies!) 4) Freeview box 5) New alarm clock (i've needed one for months now) 6) Calvin Klein deoderant 7) Mars Bar box! and i think thats it.

i had about 5-6 dreams... strange. 1) we were going on a camp or something and the plane crashed. i yelled 'Vekoma much?'. we all survived and everyone found it great fun. however, the story goes for a table-turning twist of events: it was actually a coach! (ok... so that didnt make much sense) *EDIT* i went to Pleasure Wood hills and they got the worlds biggest, fastest, scariest inverted freefall ride which was made of wood. Uh-oh, i think my brains running in over-time now...

any ideas of where youre going? (im starting to save up for my gap year! )
-
oh dear god, i done that in Spain... i got so many strange looks. i actually nearly fell over with laughter because the boobs were so big. you know youre addicted when you try to break through the filters at work/school to make sure youre up to date with everything (yes, i do go on it at school. i hope they havent filtered it) heres another one: you hate aquatrax.

What would rides be like on the moon?
IceDragon replied to Thrillrider15's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
just as long as there arent any Vekoma's, we'll be perfectly safe... actually, will we even be affected by that on the moon? any volenteers? -
1) God 2) Satan 3) It's a woman!!!

SheiKra to acquire Floorless Trains?
IceDragon replied to Imhotep's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
it can be done, although it would take at least 3 years to actually design the safety aspects, not make it. heh, i asked Alton Towers if Oblivion will have that done in the future, they said in 5-6 years time yay! floorless freefalling freak-outs! -
Best coaster ride when raining
IceDragon replied to verticalzero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
yeah... i think i blacked out on the 4-g turn... bloody hell, they said if it rained, it would hit somewhere between 4.5-6/7 g's... its sounds pretty fake, but it sure felt like my feet were gonna break off! Air's indifferent. nothing too spectacular, but the inline twist is much better. Oblivion... well... it was fairly hard, leveling my head so it was parallel with the ground, we were falling at the same rate as the rain... that was fairly freaky. Colossus' air-time hill after the loop was insane! it is usually floater air time, but this was true ejector air-time! -
i had that on Slammer, they don't normally check your safety or comfort, but they decided to make everything that little bit safer, they tried to get every ones otsr's down another click, which literally pinned me in my seat... i came off with a massive head rush, so i didn't complain... mmmm.... Samurai on the other hand, well, dont get me started. we were sent to our seats. the restraints came down and then they automatically opened (i was on the end and i somehow managed to turn my neck to see the lake). the whole row started screaming and using every fowl word under the sun. the op was just about to push the button that would send us to our doom, but the people in the queue also started yelling and banging on the cabin. it was quite funny. they stopped just in time and got us to safety. we were then loaded again onto the same row. the bars came down, yada-yada-yada, but there were two over-obese (spelling) Jamaicans who rather rudely pushed their way onto the ride. Once again, i was the head of the second uproar within 3 minutes. I demanded them to get their supervisor (or whatever) so i could complain about the lapse in fairness (how geeky, lol) finally, after a third time, we got on, but the bars didn't lower all the way. we demanded off, but they didn't do anything and sent us round anyway, each of us with a 3/4/5 click ride... the scariest thing i have ever had happen. we went to the complaints office and said 'those f*ckers operating The Samurai are the S*ttest people ever. What in Gods name possessed you to even think of employing them? We want them revoked from their jobs due to lapse in health and safety' and told them what i have just told you. we continued around the park, went back to The Samurai to see what kind of mess was happening this time, but they were doing the fastest launch ever! we spoke to the ops and they said 'didn't you know? they were fired because some kids complained about their atrocious behaviour!' Result!

What is the craziest thing you've done on a bike?
IceDragon replied to socalMAN123's topic in Random, Random, Random
well... i managed to get really low doing this super-cool turn. i was travelling around 35 mph (amazing, i know) and hit around 20 degrees from the horizontal and the bike flew from underneath me. i went with it, my bare right leg scraping along the ground. i finally stopped somewhere between 5 and 10 ft away from where my bike fell. I just laid in the same position bleeding fairly badly for an hour. i also managed to go so fast down a hill (it was about 20 ft high) that when i applied the brakes, i managed to go over the handle bars due to the sudden stop. accident prone: oh yes do it again: definately!
