  1. The roller coaster you mean is the Python. But it only has turn, lift hill, turn, drop, 2 loops, turn, 2 corkscrews, helix, break: that's it. The dark ride is called "droomvlucht" (translation: "dreamflight") and yes, the goblin is a frightning part! I still jump when he comes... You remembered well for a 4 year old! Maybe you recognize my avatar? dont remember the part in your avatar, but i also remember the massive house with the trains... i think the room, or the 'box' where the traintrack was kept had a part where it simulated a storm or something... i cant remember it too well
  2. a brief introduction should explain why I'm doing this. Well, i had my trusty camera on me for my photography course, so i decided to enlighten you of my day and school, but the school is sensitive about teacher privacy, so you wont see any I was also stupid enough to forget to take a picture of the school maybe tomorrow or the day after so, my day started of so-so, i had an hour of Government and Politics, in which we learned/revised how and why Great Britain joined the EU. The hour went so slowly, but it was fairly interesting (i got 41% in my mocks *insert sucking on teeth sound). Second period, i started finishing some homework for my other Government and Politics teacher. we had break when i told Helen that it was pancake day, she got really really excited and phoned her mum to tell her to make pancakes. Third period, i had General Studies, where we learned that the company 'Asda' are evil for buying land and not allowing other shops to build there. It's basically a massive debating lesson, great fun for releasing anger! Fourth i had Photography. i managed to get myself off-site to take pictures for my coursework, which is where my photo report truly starts. I walked with a friend to the corner sop (almost a mile away) to get decent pictures of cars driving passed. I ran into the middle of the road and took pictures of cars coming toward me. a shame none of them work anywho, on with the TR!!!! just the effect needed, well done!!! Actually, isnt he going a bit too fast for this road? yes, i would like that piece of modern art! how much? While at the shops, i bought some food!!! yay!!! yes, i would like to buy Jesus on God-Bay! (sorry if anyones offended) school should be a 10min walk that-a way!!! see where that boy is? turn left just beyond him to see my magnificent school which i dont have any pictures of. I'M THE ANGRY DRAIN!!!! GIVE ME RAINWATER MIXED WITH OIL AND PETROL!!! harmless image or car p0rn? YOU decide! energy drinks = old mans pee... mine was a dark yellow colour! meet my friends!!! this is Helen... say 'hello!' kids! This is PC... he's our resident Punky-emo dude who likes to do stupid things for fun... This is Rutter/Lanky. He's really tall. He's the Creepy guy you try to avoid... this is Greg. he's usually placid, but annoy him and he'll throw a chair at you! this is Liz. she's camera-shy. She's the local Japanese speaking anime-lover! This is Helen number 2. She likes Dragons... we take the piss out of everyone on the bus and listen to music Hi. I'm Baldilocks. I'm the driver, so sit down and stfu!!! long road with a tunnel at the end!!! DUCK!!! (where?) im the evil blurry house!! feed me macaroni-piece pictures!!! about 5 mins later, the battery ran out ah well, i hope you enjoyed it!!!
  3. does it still work? is it safe? (not seen images yet) if so, wanna go ride it? rcdb picture 8 looks like its full of airtime!!! the other website makes it look un-rideable. if you push it around the first time, you can see if it breaks or not, then ride it
  4. i have 2, one was taken in december and one in october at a local club where we were celebrating halloween (metalcore fans: eat your heart out!) spider webs, only enhanced by a flash, these were not photoshopped!!! one of my first major images, it took a long time to get him to pose like that. he didnt know i was there
  5. can anyone say suicidal? i wouldnt mind doing it once for the credit. could this be the 'primordial soup' that Vekoma crawled out from?
  6. and the strobes and helecopter effects...
  7. last time i went i was 4 years old i think. the only thing i remember is a rollercoaster with 2 loops, 2 corkscrews, a helix, 2 inline twists and another helix. does everything come in 2's????? then there was a dark ride that took you through an elfen setting. it was really relaxing until that effin goblin scared the crap outta me. yeah, its really really pretty
  8. i gave my ps2 to my sister, and now im addicted to macromedia flash 8, where im currently making/learning a quiz about Oblivion (we all gotta start somewhere )
  9. punky Britney? ewwww... its embarrassing to be a punk now
  10. i don't have any pictures, but videos are funnier: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v624/Ice-Dragon/?action=view&current=CaramelTheHamsterMisadventuresofthe.flv
  11. I thought it was a young boy who panicked at the first block break. he broke the bars and forced his way out, but his friend tried to pull him back in. the ride started again and he was dragged off the platform and fell to the floor, splattering blood on the strobe as he fell ive been hit around the face mid-ride (no, it wasnt the sides) when i rode alone... freaked me out a lot, then on the part where the train stops, goes forward, stops, then goes back, i saw 2 red eyes, kinda like the ones in The Amityville Horror. I told the ops and they thought i was lying... really scared the pants off of me though, theres no way im doing that ride alone again... unless i have a camera to prove it. I've yet to hear voices... unless it was me, when i started yelling things out (ie: IM THE BOOGIEMAN!!!)
  12. mine would have to be the Samurai at Thorpe Park (before tame-down at Chessington, on the morning session. bloody hell! it feels like it broke down, then it flew back the other way, catching everyone unawares) that or any generic indoor Waltzer that couldnt give a rats a$$ about epilepsy and turn off all the lights other than 3 or 4 strobes planted about that look like normal lights at first...
  13. damn... sounds amazing! i really need to encourage some friends to go there now... shame we live about 5 hours away from it... walking is always an idea...
  14. i think Ritas launch is effective for the whole racing idea. 'ok racers, get those engline ready' *revving sounds* *launch* 'GO GO GO!'
  15. thats not nice... the circuit may be short, but for what its worth, its an ok ride! the revolutions should be sped up a bit, the same seats always end up at the top, and before the tame-down, it was awesome! tame down
  16. rename it x:wtf??? im stoked for the update now! Thorpe arent saying what the revamp includes, but its still gonna have the black brakes with a few major scares... the worlds first haunted house rollercoaster??? cant wait!
  17. so, there i was on my brothers drum kit, smashing away like crazy, doing my heavy metal punk ting, when all of a sudden, a blister appears, right where i place the drum stick. Now i cant play for about a week or so it hurts to do pretty much anything anywho, how has your day been?
  18. a beat up, 7 year old pair of Nike shoes that have been to every themepark with me the past 7 years a pair of New Rocks with the flame thing on the toe-cap
  19. in no order 1) Waltzers. the most amazing ride anywhere! How can anyone resist so much fun in such a small space! Its a great investment as each ride is different due to weight and spacing ratios. 2) Log Flumes. How much fun are they? I simply adore any park who has a decent sized drop. the footprint doesnt have to be big, but the drops must be pretty fast 3) carusels. well, its already been explained, but these are perfect for any kids and adults and they sure do make a park look prettier 4) Wild Mouses. either spinning or non-spinning, these pack a punch! the hairpin turns are awesome and the pops of airtime as you go up and over hills is so much fun! 5) Nemesis. A B&M Invert that takes the meaning of terrain to the edge! the awesome power of this ride is enough to take your breath away! Watch out for the blood river, and yes, the theme is still being played! 6) Rapids. Any park should have these. The more interactive they are, the better! 7) Chutes. These are always a nice attraction to have. Try and hit the wall at the end! 8) Tea cups. Not fond of spinning? Dont touch the wheel!!! these are an excellent way to make yourself feel nice and sick! 9) Freefall towers. These are so much fun! Even if its a launched drop, launched incline or a nice drop, there is always airtime down the next tower! 10) Launch Coasters. Anything that launches you at a great speed is a deffinate top 10 in my opinion. Tunnel vision rocks!
  20. could you not put me in one? i want loads of emails...

  24. thesis: if youve ridden a ride in the past that has been improved, does it count as a new credit?
  25. thanks for all the ideas! we have to analyze the image, say how it shows freedom etc (mines going to be freedom through movement, so its going to include rides, dancing, etc) just a little more information: I live in Essex, England. 2+ hours from any Madame Tussauds theme parks, but i can get the train to Adventure Island. I'm going to end up making a compilation of film and static of on-ride (hopefully) and off-ride action, which means i will need to add high tempo techno/rock music (any suggestions, please post here) you can be included in this too, all you need to do is post an image of yourself and a few images you have taken of anything that moves (nothing too rude please) thanks all who have helped so far!
