  1. i love rollercoaster for may reasons. The main reson is because of the thrills generated due to not having control of whats will/is going to/has happened. To intensify the thrill, i tell myself that the ride is most likely going to crash, even though i know you have more chance of dying by being hit on the head by a falling coconut... Another reason is themeing. If a ride has a lot of consistent theming, i will enjoy it more because there is more chance of being hit by the theming... Theme parks are a little harder. I love the skyline, which sets me off (i tend to go hyper and not eat while at a themepark due to the atmosphere), i love being able to watch the rides in action as you drive up and enter the themepark. Thorpe Park (my home park where all my favourite rides are, except Oblivion, Nemesis and Rita ) is great! Firstly you can see Stealth, Detonator, Colossus and Vortex from anywhere... you have to walk right by Vortex and Colossus when you enter, which also prepares me for my adrenaline filled day. I also love the noise and smells of a theme park. Hearing people scream, whether its for fun, fear or excitement, it always makes me happy knowing that people are having the time of their lives without doing anything extreme. The smells are awesome! I love walking passed a shop and smelling the sickly sweets and treats inside each of the shops. My favourite smell is probably candyfloss and freshly cooked doughnuts! the last reason why i love theme parks is the night-life (if they open until late). Being on a 200ft freefall tower at midnight is a really wierd feeling. Having so much time to do everything at a theme park is insane. normally, the time would be spent queuing or getting food, but recently, i've avoided most of that and i have spent some time watching sideshows and actually joining in with them! It creates a sense of euphoria, where you feel nothing could go wrong, and it rarely does!
  2. real person: a girl i like to call emmzy... we rock out loud on rides... although it is mainly taking the piss out of everyone else, throwing insults t friend on the other side of the ride, etc... fake: ummmm... i've yet to find/win/buy one...
  3. are they worth the money?
  4. I'm holding a very metal xmas party and need ideas for songs. They need to be rock/punk/metal (any forms) that are fast, have awesome guitar lines and you must be able to mosh (fake fighting to music, putting it simply). please post any artists and/or songs! cheers!!!
  5. its not a waltzer, but it has the same effects (ill try and find the image) also, try the waltzer on Walton on-the-naze, that get some high G's and some decent spins. They also play metal while on it. Metallica + Waltzer = OMG!!! INSANE!!!
  6. i went on a website and had a pop-up advertising marshmallow guns...
  7. i wouldnt mind having the ride!!! wow.... if you charged £3 for each person, getting a full load each time, it would take about 210 fully loaded rides before its paid for itself...
  8. we need more B&M action... i sent an email off asking what plans lay ahead and which are true... i was that bored...

  17. hell yeah! even though its amazingly tame!!! weeeeeeeeeee...!!! *burst of airtime*
  18. either this, this, The Flying Fish (TP), The Beast (AT) or Mighty Mini Mega (AI)... ... almost forgot, the Vekomatose death machine that is... The Corkscrew (AT)... i do miss nearly valleying between the corkscrews...
  19. i nearly vallied on Corkscrew at AT... only 3 other people on there at the time... we slowed down a lot! it always feels like youre going to valley on camelbacks
  20. IM AN ANGRY CRACK-ADDICT ON A HORSE RACING GAME!!!! GIVE ME CANDY!!! (and maybe some crack...)
  21. i wouldnt say Colossus was underrated. Personally XNWO is fun. it has a fair few airtime hills, pitch black (sometimes) and goes backwards. the only thing its lacking is an inversion...
  22. well, ive only done 2 holiday-themed events, both halloween, one at Chessington and the other at Thorpe Park. Chessington was a bit iffy, purely because of the weather (rain, rain, break, rainn rain and rain!) plus there wasnt much in the way of halloween, more Star Wars than anything, although they did try to get compressed smoke coming out of the fountains instead of water, which was quite scary. it really made me jump! on Rameses Revenge, they had a low-hanging fog machine at the top of the path, leading down to the station, where it would congruate on the loading ramps and sometimes on the ride itself. the Vampire also had smoke, but it was rarely used and wasnt as effective. we had Rameses Revenge singing 'Here we go! Here we go! Here we go!', which was awesome. overall, very family-friendly and a great day out!!! Thorpe Park goes for the more exteme halloween. special Fright-Nites music for pretty much everything, lights everywhere, scary actors, and even scarier mazes! We didnt get to do The Asylum due to extra long queues being placed out, but we did Hellgate twice, which was great fun, even my 7yr old sister loved it, even if she was panicking. She thought we were getting her on Colossus or Slammer, poor girl! We explained what would happen and she went along with it, screaming with fear and enjoyment everytime someone jumped out. My brother was set of on a screaming fit when an actor grabbed his foot from under a table right at the beginning. It even had me scared in places too! The funny part was, my brother came out shaking really badly and a supervisor came over and asked if we were ok (he was shaking alot!). we said he had a few scary encounters and the onlything she said was 'good' which was rather rude, but we laughed it off. The Samurai and Colossus was amazing after dark. they both seemed to be much more intense and a lot faster... overall, Thorpe Park wins, but do go to Chessington. its quite fun and you get a special halloween 'Trick-or-Shriek' bag, filled with pranks.
  23. without flavours: 0 with: 2-3 pints how many times do you daydream throughout your day?
