Hear it from England (basically a more detailed version): www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1143457/British-teenager-sues-Disney-Tower-Of-Terror-ride-left-brain-damaged.html "The pair, from Kibworth, Leicestershire, claim the theme park owner was negligent and failed to provide proper safety restraints." Is it just me or am I right in saying that both of those arguments aren't even related to the incident.

The mysterious yellow B&M!

^^^ Yes, as out as place as that. -
Anyone remember the Track Tennis I held about a year ago? Well, just to let you know, its finished!!! Now the ride isn't perfect in any way, shape or form. However, if you take into account what the ride represents you'll see that it isn't about the outcome, but the process you go through in making it. I can say I had a wonderful time participating and I'm sure others have too. Just as a side note, 3ds were created for the ride but people were having problems transferring the files with them so I decided to scrape them. Let me offer my apologies to those who this effects. Also, the logo above was created by TEXAS. Now, without further ado, here are the people that made this ride a reality: 1: dr.gumbo (Referee) 2: Steffen_DK 3: DBru 4: Tanks4me05 (Co-Referee) 5: jpdupuis 6: ElToroExtreme 7: jamjar 8: rcman 9: TEXAS 10: royalcoaster 11: Xpress I would like to hand out a big thank you to Tanks4me, who made this possible. Cheers! As always, enjoy! (If you have problems, please tell) Zephyrus - God of speed.nltrack

The mysterious yellow B&M!

Looks like a solid ride, I love the support work. However, there's just one thing that's bugging me: Looks really out of place if you ask me. -
[NL] Ghost Train
dr.gumbo replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Again, you've out-done your previous efforts with this ride. The good -Smooth as a knife through butter. -Nice combination of elements and layout. -Very fun. -Nice pacing. -Great idea by installing roofs on certain sections. The not so good -It doesn't really do anything out-of-the-ordinary in terms of elements and layout. My Verdict Another solid ride from you, it just lacks that extra push to make it to make it memorable. Other than that, good job! 8/10 (verging on 9) -

^ I agree, the ride looks fantastic. The supports seem quite impressive and so does the trackwork. I do think the loop looks a bit pointy at the top though. -

Wow, that's pretty impressive. He even included the actual layouts of the rides. -

Looks like a nice place, the rides aren't extraordinary but the theming and the atmosphere pretty good. Thanks for the photos. -
^ I think it was Wings 3D.

I can't believe people actually think I can't spell 'ready', I feel like I'm being stereotyped here. -

^^ Looks quite good, I haven't seen many people make those types of rides before on NL. Here's my project, I'll release more info later: What do you think, too Frank Miller-esque? -
Favorite first drop on a Steel Coaster

Best first drop for me has to be PMBO. By far the best part of the ride. -
Colored Handrails in NL
dr.gumbo replied to RavineFlyer2fan's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Assuming your talking about NL, I don't think you can do it any other way unless you use an environment. I'm not even sure you can do the latter either. -

^ I'm just wondering how the winner is going to be determined. Are you doing a poll or are you judging it yourself? -

The ride looks good (not amazing) but the theming looks spectacular. I can't wait to ride it sometime. -

^ Clearly you haven't been on a GCI. From what I hear, these trains are supposed to be very comfortable. -
I personally don't give a damn what it is (unless its coming to England lol), but someone I know came up with this: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=48745&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=150 (9th post of the page) Take a CLOSE look at the ties of the mystery track and the stand up track, and then at the floorless and sit down tracks. The floorless and sit down tracks appear to have the V-Cut of the ties at a slightly steeper angle than the stand up and mystery track. How's that for insight? Along with that, the distance between the bottom of the ties (where it is welded to the side of the spine) to the top corner of the spine in relation to the distance between the top of the spine and the top of the ties (where the ties are welded to the rails) seems to be of a higher ratio for the floorless and sitdown when compared to the stand up and mystery track. The floorless and sitdowns look like a 3:1 ratio while the stand up and mystery track look like a 4:1 ratio. Also, the height of the spine for the stand up and the mystery coaster seem to be slightly taller than the floorless and the sit down: http://rcdb.com/ig3852.htm?picture=17 http://rcdb.com/ig4079.htm?picture=7 Compared to: http://rcdb.com/ig470.htm?picture=6 Now, these differences may simply be due to the angle and distance of which the pictures were taken, and there is a chance that the tracks are all exactly the same. But in the chance that there are subtle differences, my bet is the stand up. (Not just because I'm a die hard fan of the stand up.) If not, then the floorless and sit down are both equally as likely. How's that for insight?
