  1. That's right.....Robb is the Human RCDB. Sad that SFoG and SFGAm got rid of theirs. Are they that much of a technical nightmare?
  2. ^^ Definitely worth the trip. I visited SFDK for the first time last year and had a great time. The park is not too big or too small and has a great collection of attractions. Great crowd, not too packed. The longest coaster line was Tony Hawk. Roar is a fun woodie. Medusa is fun....was my 100th coaster credit. Anyways.....definitely recommend taking a trip there sometime.
  3. Great TR and pics. Looks like it was an awesome opening day for the park.....with the exception of the rain of course. The park looks great!
  4. Thanks for the coaster porn! AWESOME pics Time to go rub one out now.
  5. The park looks awesome. Hopefully they can pull it off. Houston does need it's own theme park again.
  6. My first for the 2010 season was WDW Magic Kingdom First ride was Space Mountain First new park will be Cedar Point
  7. ^^ Great TR and pictures. Thanks for the update.
  8. ^^ No joke....my right hand got quite a bit of exercise. LOL
  9. Signed up earlier today but no change in my membership status.
  10. BTR almost looks like GreatWhite from SeaWorld San Antonio. Great pics though. This is one of the parks I hope to visit in the near future. Hope it isn't too ghetto.
  11. ^^ Hopefully this works and then maybe Rattler at SFFT will be next.
  12. ^^ The last one I rode was Kong at SFDK and that was god awful as well. I had ridden Serial Thriller at SFAW and I don't remember it being that bad considering it was one of the newest SLC's that had been constructed.
  13. ^^ I agree. I rode Gwazi back in 2006 and just recently a few weeks ago 2010 and it was significantly rougher than I remembered. I did not enjoy it at all this year like I did back in 2006.
  14. I agree. I stopped riding Texas Giant after 2003 because of the headaches it would give me after every ride. It sounds like this is a step in the right direction. We'll just have to wait until 2011.
  15. What about the B&M flyers. They seem to have a different type of ratcheting system than the regular inverts do and of course no seat belt. Anyone know what some of the differences are between the two? I've always wondered.
  16. Six Flags AstroWorld Six Flags over Texas Six Flags Fiesta Texas SeaWorld San Antonio Six Flags St Louis DisneyLand Busch Gardens Tampa Six Flags Great America King's Island Knott's Berry Farm Disney's California Adventure Disney's Animal Kingdom DisneyWorld Magic Kingdom Six Flags Magic Mountain Islands of Adventure Universal Studios Hollywood Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
  17. ^^Awesome pics! Thanks for taking me back home. That trip looks like it was soooo much fun!
  18. I still think it's bs though, Why couldn't they just plop a Terminator clone in there, they cost around the same. I don't think they'd want to rename it the Texas Midget. j/j
  19. ^^ I totally agree. I also agree about painting Shockwave back to white. It's current colors are major bleh!
  20. FireHawk at King's Island for me. Even though those over the shoulder straps are thick, I still didn't feel safe on that ride. I feel so much safer on the B&M flyers since there's slack. Once it's locked, it's locked tight.
  21. What about the movie "Summer School"? There was a Arrow Corkscrew coaster filmed in that movie. Anyone know where that was filmed?
  22. Nice trip report and pics. Today was opening day for SFoT or was it a special event day?
  23. Glad to hear that you're ok, Robb! That makes me think twice about blaring my music on my Ipod when I work out.
