Post your milestone coasters
ArizonaGuy replied to bgwfreak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Medusa at SFDK was my 100th coaster Maverick at Cedar Point was 120. -
Aren't there a lot of the same elements in Chang as there are in Medusa.....err I mean Bizzaro? Loop, Dive Loop, Corkscrews? I just don't see this making sense. I guess that's my argument like everyone else saying "Why would it go to SFGAm since they already have a stand up?" Eh I dunno...I guess we'll wait and see.

^^ Well that's cool. I'm sure everything's gonna turn out good for ya.

I-75 Classic Touchdown/Big Butter Jesus Burns Down

Totally agreed. Something productive would be nice but of course.........some hippocrates need something like this to make them feel better about themselves. "No let's not help the community...this big Jesus statue will make us be better people". -
Listening to "Sober"-- P!nk

LOL@the "Sad news" reference. I'm sure this is going to be considered more of a tragedy than the oil spill in the Gulf. *sings* Isn't it ironic......don't you think???? -
Coming out and not having to live that "double life" will lift the weight off your shoulders. It definitely made life easier for me.

^^ I totally understand what you're saying. I'd say "straight acting" because if you're gay you have to act like something youre not.

Photo TR: Holiwood Nights 2010
ArizonaGuy replied to WildStangAlex's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Nice Photo TR. Those wooden coasters look sweet. I wish I was closer. Maybe that's a park I'll have to plan for next year. -
I am the same...I do my own oil changes, work around the house doing repairs and unless someone asked me (or I told them), they would never know. I also went through the death rock phase, although that was back in my late teens and early twenties. I still like and listen to a lot of the heavy metal and grunge music of the eighties and nineties. Just got the new STP along with Pavement & Jon Spencer Blues Explosion greatest hits the other day in the mail. Not exactly staples at our local gay club!!! Seems like there are a lot on here the same way (straight acting, although I don't like the term "acting") and some who are more effeminate, which is also fine. They are usually the one's that are the life of a party...especially when there might be uber-conservative straight people there! Masculinity is soooo sexy.

I hear you there. When I first came out, I had friends that were all about being gay and doing everything associated with being gay. (i.e. gay coffee shops, clothing shops, clubs, etc.) Even though I thought that was going just a bit overboard, I got used to it and it actually helped me be more accepting and comfortable with who I was. At first, I was afraid of people knowing I was gay and now I couldn't care less. I am who I am and I'm very happy with that.

Oh poor Blanche. RIP Rue.....

^^ Totally agree with you man. I am sooooo the same way. It seems like you also like taking your profile picture with a little bit of "booby" in the back ground. LOL j/j

^^ It's called LIABILITY, dude! If security would have just let that happen and any one of those teens or even a band member would have been hurt the park could be held liable. It's called trying to avoid a MAJOR lawsuit if something may have happened. How do you think Six Flags would look if they were taken to court and the argument was "Security was there and watched the whole thing happen and did nothing to try and stop it. Now this poor little high school girl will never have the chance to become prom queen because her face was trampled when she fell to the floor and everyone else stepped on her. We're also seeking pain and suffering compensation because she's so depressed that she's not as pretty as she used to be so she's never going to get a date again or even get laid again even if she wears a paper bag over her face." Ok.....so I went a little overboard with that last remark but still....... Believe me....lawyers would have a FIELD DAY with that!

It all boils down to the band inviting people on the stage. Obviously the park didn't know the band was going to do that. I'm sure Security didn't just go up there and start macing people. If they were trying to get people off stage and they weren't moving off stage....hell yeh they deserve to be maced. If you were somewhere you weren't supposed to be and I asked to to leave and you wouldn't budge......yup....I'd mace your @$$ too.
