  1. Read your initial post.....you didn't say "Themed Ride Experience"......you just said "where just about every ride is lacking any kind of theming". BIG DIFFERENCE. Theming to me is the entrance to the ride, queue, station, etc........ Just sayin'
  2. You either haven't been to the park or you're blind. Which one are you? Just sayin'
  3. ^^ Yeh really. She is like a female jesus. Ok...well not really but us gays sure love her.
  4. LOL. I love that us gays keep this thread as well as retail and fashion alive. hehe
  5. Wow...I rode Mean Streak this summer...(in the very front of course by recommendation) and I liked it. Maybe I was stoked at the fact that I was a Cedar Point for the first time in my life and that riding it increased my coaster count by 1. I really didn't think it was that bad of a ride. I hear a lot of negative comments about Mean Streak (Brown Streak) and Son of Beast and quite honestly....I would have loved to see Texas Giant go up in flames before those two. Of course now that Texas Giant is getting the Extreme Makeover Coaster Edition.......I'm glad Texas Giant never caught fire.
  6. I think we're all more than sure it's not going to be converted into a floorless.
  7. Well they could have just said "to hell with SFNE" and not given them anything at all. I wish people would just be more grateful.
  8. Great TR. Lots of awesome pics. Yes...TPR has turned me into a credit whore as well. I almost tried to bribe this lady to let me use her kid just so I could get the Jr Gemini credit because apparently you have to have a kid to ride it.
  9. My god people get over it already. General Public doesn't know that, much less care I'm sure.
  10. The first 2 failed miserably? According to who?
  11. As a gay man myself I'd like like to get married but I know this isn't gonna happen in my great state of Arizona. Oh well....eventually I plan to move away from this dump. LOL In anycase I'm glad there's a state that is not letting this inequality go without a fight.
  12. I believe Robb already put this one to rest. I wouldn't bring it up anymore.
  13. Nice TR. Lots of great pics and looks like you had a lot of fun.
  14. I don't want to get into a debate ... but sometimes it just can't be helped ... and please take this in the meaning that it's meant, not trying to start a flame war ... that being said ... Marriage, at least in this country is NOT a religious pact, it's a legal proceeding. Period. People who are atheists can get married. People can get married by a judge. Even when you get married by a priest or a pastor you still have to go to the state and get a marriage license. Letting two men or two women get married has NOTHING to do with your church or your religion. If you don't want gay people getting married in your church, then don't let them get married in your church. There are PLENTY of other places they can have it done. My wife and I didn't get married in a church nor did we have a religious ceremony. Are you going to tell me my marriage is void because it had nothing to do with religion? Thank you Senor Clinksalot!!! VERY WELL SAID! There is more I could add to it but I think you hit the nail right on the head.
  15. Thanks for all the great pics at Carowinds! Looking forward to the next update!
  16. Geez the SFGAm event looks like it was awesome, minus the rain of course. The park looks really nice and it's nice to see Six Flags work hard to please the TPR group. Definitely great hosts. P.S. Nice A$$ shot Robb....at least I think that's Robb. Geez...if that happends often on TPR trips I should be more inclined to sign up. LOL j/j
  17. Awesome photos of Holiday World. That's going to be the next park on my "to do" list. The Voyage looks pretty awesome.
  18. I would definitely say the drive to San Antonio is not as far as the drive to Arlington. You'll probably save yourself driving about 50-75 miles if you go to San Antonio over Arlington give or take where you're driving from. I would say going to SFFT is going to be the better bet for you. I'd say the rides are quite nice at SFFT and the scenery is very nice.
  19. Great photos of SFStL. Park looks really nice. It looks like they are keeping up with the park quite well. Mr. Freeze looks great inside and out. I can't wait until I can attend one of these trips with you guys! P.S. The last time I was there in 2008, the island that Mr. Freeze is on including the queue was in very bad shape. Weeds everywhere, broken lights, etc. Hope along with the coaster improvements they've cleaned up a lot of the surroundings. Any pics?
  20. Great TR so far. Look forward to more photos. Looks like you guys are having an awesome time.
  21. LOL....Is SFoG That bad??? I've been wanting to go to both SFoG and Carowinds so I think you've somewhat helped me make up my mind of which one should come first. Greats pics BTW. I can't wait to visit that park!
  22. I'm a screamer........and anything over 200ft, i'm a cusser.
  23. People watching in Savannah? I'm sure that would be a good laugh. I wanna go to Savannah to eat at Paula Dean's restaurant. How far is Savannah from the Atlanta area?
  24. ^^ Totally agree with Wes. Need to get over the "Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda"
  25. ^^ Yeh man...I hear ya. Sea World takes a HUGE chunk of the market share in San Antonio. SFFT just needs to figure out how to get a lot of them to their park too! They do need to work out some good promos to get the people in.
