From what I've seen the Nintendo stuff gets long lines first but folks tend to move along by 2 or 3 and the lines for down a bit. Honestly a lot of the time I'm seeing lines under 30 mins for every ride once 3 or 4pm hits. Honestly I do want to do the Nintendo stuff but it's probably my least must do of everything. Getting a VQ for Potter, getting on Monsters, and getting on Stardust are the big 3, then Hiccups. But based on the lines as long as everything is open I'm fairly confident I will get to do everything the first day, which sets up a more relaxing day the 2nd time around when the park is fully "open".

^^ They all look amazing!

At opening definitely keep an eye on the app to see what’s reported open or having a wait time to ensure you will arrive at an attraction that’s open. The biggest set back for the start of your day is going all the way into one world and the ride is down, so you then need to hustle out and over to your next best option. Hopefully this won’t be an issue soon! The best suggestion is to start with Mine Cart due to capacity. Probably Mario Kart next. Monsters has more good days than bad days, but the rule is: if it’s open, stop what you are doing and go ride it. Do not save it for later in the day. You do not want to miss this attraction or have a day where it ends up breaking down early afternoon and stays down for the rest of the day. Ops will work to re open any attraction even if there’s 30 minutes to park close, and I mean any. Have an amazing time, travelers!

Very unusual quick sell out. It normally takes days if not week for this to happen. It was only a few hours. I haven't been in many years, but seriously considered it mostly because Siren's Curse. I'm still very pessimistic about TT2. I've never been on it. -

Glad you had a good time, sounds like it was a solid day. We went early in March during Spring Break, on a Tuesday the first week the park was open and man it was crowded. We still had a nice time but it was by far the worst day I've ever had at Dollywood. Lines were an hour plus for almost everything all day, and the wait times were all over the map as far as what was posted and what the wait was. I got in line for Lightning Rod when it was posted at 50 minutes, then in line it went from 50 to 90 to 220 and back down to 80 and I think I ended up waiting around 100. I also noticed that the TimeSaver lines were insanely busy all day long, even on rides like Big Bear and Lightning Rod where the premium Time Saver is only a single use, those rides still had timesaver lines out the building. At the platform for Lightning Rod they were loading an entire train from TimeSaver and like 2-4 seats from standby. I don't know if the new resort means double the people have TimeSaver included with their stay now or what but we really felt it slowing down the ques considerably more so than in years past. We didn't get a TimeSaver because we've been there a dozen times and have never ever needed it but lesson learned this trip. Big Bear was a new credit for me this trip as well and I thought that thing was great, just an awesome family coaster. We only got 1 ride but it was a night ride after the park closed so that was a nice way to end the trip. We still had a really nice day, just not as nice as previous trips. I still absolutely love this park and will visit every chance I get, but it shockingly busy for very early in the season. -

Glad you had a good time! -
El Diablo deconstruction has begun. It has apparently been sold to another park outside the chain. Also, the preferred parking lot to the right is closed until further notice. The entire area is about to be turned into a massive construction zone, Credit photos to Brandon Skilling and Texas Thrillseekers. Deconstruction underway Off to another park

Oof despite my watching like a hawk did miss Coastermania. Seems they have put Sirens Curse on there if it is open but they dont seem to guarantee it. "Siren’s Curse is scheduled to open in early summer. While an official opening date has not yet been set, it’s included in the Coastermania lineup in the event it has opened." Ah well. If its not yet open I wont be too bummed, still kinda sad I missed it. Unsure if I'll go this year, but solid chance I will not having done TTD2 or ofc Sirens Curse -

Oh! Was part of a very busy trip so never did follow up. Everything was 45 mins (maybe 50 but eh) or under. Exception was Tennessee Tornado Hour 25 but they were running 1 train ops!? Mustve been an issue, cant imagine why they would on spring break and when nothing else was. Given it was spring break not bad actually! I'll gladly take 45 mins and some were only 20-30. So all in all not bad! New cred for Big Bear Mountain, perhaps the gift of low expectations but was solid and surprisingly fun! LRod, got 6 rides. Once or twice did feel a little weird at first but I became a normal human and got over the chain lift. Rest is great and far as I can tell unchanged from before. Especially when it warmed up...early morning was great but late afternoon/early evening it was hauling and kicking ass. In the back a helluva ride. Oh also I got 6 rides. It opened with the park and ran all day. So that alone is ya know, pretty big. This park may have one of the best lineups. There's no bad coaster. Even calibrating for the fact "this is a family ride" Firechaser and Dragonflier are fun little rides. I know Mystery Mine is divisive but I still quite enjoy it and though not worth that long, I forgot how much ass TT kicks, Thunderhead ran great, Wild Eagle remains a low key good wing coaster. Another good visit to this park, it probably is cemented in my top 5 by this point. - Last week

have you been to the park and ridden it? I'm asking because i could *swear* I was told that was Kilg%re who has taken over the ride, when riding (he argues with Cyborg who tells the riders to calm down and he'll save them via ride audio) a query on Google got me this response: The phrase "Kilg%re" appears to be a reference to a specific theming element within the Cyborg (Nebulaz) ride area, which is part of the DC Universe section of the park I'll listen again next time I'm in the park. . but just wondering if you went and rode it and heard it differently?

So apparently, there's not really hangtime on Harley Quinn Spinsanity, but you do get pushed against your restraint like on a holding break on a dive coaster. And I've been on Valravn and Griffon (the latter even in the front!) And it's not that high. I think I might do it. I'm also scared to go on Scream, even though I did the Hershey's Tower at Hersheypark. And Scream is 16 feet taller than Hershey's Tower. I'd do the Combo Tower so that way I get launched up, then drop (like the Hershey's Tower), but TBH 200+ foot drop towers scare me, even though I've been on Superman: The Ride and Steel Force (the latter of which is the same height as Scream) and I305. It's different on coasters because I sit a few rows away from the front so I won't see how high I am.

Correction, it is Grid who takes control of the quantum mechanism. I panicked when I saw this at first, because Grid is criminally underused and Kilg%re instead of him would've been a snub. But they have the same audio from Cyborg Hyper Drive at SFNE, except YOU CAN ACTUALLY HEAR IT NOW. HALLEFUCKINGLUJAH.

I'm taking the wait times from these preview days with a grain of salt knowing that capacity is still probably fairly limited. Will be interesting to see what these wait look like in June or July after the park is fully open and there are resort guests with express passes and all that there. With that said Stardust being a super high capacity coaster that by all accounts is very very good is pretty exciting.

Tomahawk is gone?? Add another defunct flat to my list. I did that in its final year of operation twice. GOD NOW I HAVE TO GO ON HARLEY QUINN WHEN I GO THIS SATURDAY... I heard you get hangtime on Zamperla Discoverys?? Like, is it flying coaster hangtime or Kraang Prime hangtime?? Because I can handle flying coaster hangtime. Still would be scary tho.

The lift is drive tires. The ride cannot operate in rain. The roof will keep it dry. -

Does anyone know how enclosing the lift on ZZ is supposed to "enhance operational efficiency"? -
Looks like it would take about 3 hours round trip to get to and from the Park. So That is gonna take a chunk of your day. I mean im sure its possible but seems like a lot of planning and hoping all goes well. I mean i was thinking about doing something like this for Great America. Fly in from Ohio rent a car drive then fly back home at the end of the day.
