Satans Hockey
Very cool announcements, I've only been to Hershey once and didn't do the water park before but I think I might get a season pass for next year. I was gonna get one for this year and didn't end up doing so. For me Hershey is just far enough to be a pain to drive there and back in one day(about 2.5 hours each way) but not far enough to warrant a hotel so that's why I didn't bother this year. CoasterAuditor
Definitely a needed addition to the waterpark. Nice to have a decent water coaster relatively close to Virginia. Granted I imagine the lines will be awful.
boldikus
Announcement video now up on their FB page. Both look really cool, kinda wish I was more of a waterpark person. [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew]
Jobo
Hershey is claiming this as their 14th coaster. Come on this is not a real coaster and should not be in your coaster count. Don't pull the equivalent of SF calling superloops coasters.
Satans Hockey
I watched the live stream of the announcement and it was amazing how many people's first comment was "it's not a coaster!" Who gives a shit, it looks awesome. I really can't stand people sometimes lol

ytterbiumanalyst
These both look awesome! Great additions. No one will miss Tidal Force once they see this.
boldikus
Tidal Force is staying. I think thats the most surprising thing about this announcement.
michaellynn4
Holy crap, this actually blew away my expectations. I didn't expect mat racers (f**king AWESOME-looking ones at that) AND a water coaster together. Excellent addition, Hershey!!
Satans Hockey
I also love the timer feature, that's definitely going to be fun, especially to see if you can beat your previous time.

Using the logic that these are coasters than flumes are coasters too. But, nobody calls flumes coasters b/c they aren't.
SteelForceless
Looks like two solid additions for the Boardwalk! I haven't spent any time over there before, but I might consider going to the water park with the new water coaster. Watched the announcement stream off of Hersheypark's FB page and immediately after the announcement several people began to complain that the new water coaster is "not a real rollercoaster". That's enthusiasts for you I guess.

Yeah, wow, they found a way to stack more stuff on top of stuff. Good for them!
michaellynn4
Based on the renderings, the only thing that seems to be getting removed is the Shoreline Sprayground complex, which isn't a big loss comparatively speaking. Bring on the park's 14th coaster!!
