The LA Times reports that the new Simpsons area of Universal Studios Hollywood is expected to soft open starting this Saturday. While the area apparently wont have an official grand opening until sometime between late April and mid-May, you can expect to see the new Simpsons area testing, adjusting and training all the staff between now and then with a variety of tasty new dishes, Buff Beer and your chance to drink a Flaming Moe of course.

Does anyone know what caused hulk to stall mid ride a couple days ago? They say it was a technical malfunction. Any update on that?
