Still up? Taken down? Are they ever taken down?

In my opinion, Christmas lights are nice up till Christmas, then they are just lingering....

I am BUMPING this, because several of us do do Decorations around our homes.

(do, do = giggle)

I am starting to getting mine organized and set up and lit up, etc.

So, anybody else getting ready for The Holidays - of which there are several?

And underneath the Subject Heading of this thread could now be:

"You putting up soon? Already put up? Taking down, when?"

;)

^ We spent two days last Friday and Saturday putting up decorations and haven't even put the tree up yet! :wtf:

I will have to take some pics this weekend and share.

Behold my decked halls! I start putting everything up right after Thanksgiving, and I start taking everything down on January 2.

The Christmas Village always goes up first night after Thanksgiving weekend.

I particularly like Cousin Eddie at the drive-in movie.

The outside lights are next. Only had to make one trip to Target this year to replace a bad string. ;)

Finally, it's tree time. Let's take a closer look.

We are still decorating for Christmas. My wife is going overboard because our granddaughter, who is 3, is coming to stay with us.

Great showing of stuff, Chuck! I do like the Drive-In set up. Can go either horror or teen scene 1950s, right?

That said, I've been collecting these 'cups' from this Asian supermarket franchise called T & T Supremarket in Vancouver.
In the bakery area, and usually with a cake/pudding/topping combo on/in them. For $5.50 Cdn.

I was hooked. :lover:

So this is the newest one, yet to be placed within my decorating empire in the house, LOL.

And with an Angry Birds ring, too! Cool!!!

Bill, Shiriki looks particularly fiendish on your mantle.
