This obviously never happened but the original owner, Warner LeRoy, had a very large plan which would have seen almost all the land around the park and even behind the lake used towards the resort. rcjp Posted June 23, 2014 Share Posted June 23, 2014 On the B&Ms whose trains don't have a "zero car", the first and second car have a different articulation system which allows the to twist only laterally (this can be noticed more easily on an invert where the distance form your feat to the car in front of you changes according to the track curvature except if you're sitting on the second row). El Toro_Ryan Posted June 30, 2014 Share Posted June 30, 2014 Opening procedures at GADV require us to test the rides with all available trains and then once tests are done, trains can be transferred off for maintenance or due to low attendance. This way, when a train needs to be transferred back on for whatever reason, block and safety checks are already done for said amount of trains so there isn't too long a hold up in operations. We always do morning checks at El Toro with two trains and then if necessary, one train is transferred of and then later transferred it back on in the day if necessary. If you have ever noticed that we load people onto a train as soon as it is transferred on, it's because that train has already been through its safety checks.
