I want kids. My own kids. Not adoption, not growing one inside a woman I don't even know, that may develop her traits. I don't want that. I just want children that I can say are mine, and fully mine with the partner that I love.

Foster kids and adopted kids need love too, probably more than a lot of other children in the world. While I want 3 of my own, I also want to adopt some. I have a lot of love to give and I for one will not discriminate about who I give it to... regardless of how I get them, they would still me MY OWN children.

You know, I have thought about the "children" situation lately. I mean, I'm gay and there no changing that at all, I like the way I am...But i've also wanted my own kids too without having to adopt. Then the past few days, i've been giving adoption some thought. I figure bringing another into the world when there are already so many children out there who need love and attention, regardless of me wanting to have my "Own" kids...that gave me the answer I was looking for. Though, kids won't be in the picture anytime soon, it's always good to have some type of plan.

 

I do understand about people wanting their own kids, without having to adopt or a Surrogate. But, like roasted_marshmallow said "regardless of how I get them, they would still be MY OWN children."

I've been completely "out" for a little over 2 years, was in a relationship for one of those years which ended yesterday with me being dumped ah well...

^That sucks...I came out this past janurary. I haven't dated for a year, or two, or three. I've actually never dated a guy "really". I guess i'm too nervous to go ahead and ask one out. Besides that, being single this long has never really bothered me...well with my 4 best friends, they keep me occupied (not in that way lol) I dunno, maybe there's hope at the mall.
