Swimace Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 Everyone who has not seen Mean Girls always gets skepticals when you mention it, just because of the concept of a movie about high school girls. The thing is, it's one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. It's written by Tina Fey of SNL, so that definately proves it must be AT LEAST decent. That movie is awsome! It doesn't hurt that most of the main characters are hot...
Masked_Maverick Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Car 54, Where are you?, Kung Pow:Enter the Fist, Garfield: The movie (although as a big fan of the strip I do have some thoughts about some of the film), Good Burger, Last Action Hero
wersigobra Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I saw someone mention Heathers. I love that movie. I also liked: Welcome to the Doll House Santa Sangre Reform School Girls Freeway Office Space These aren't too mainstream and I'm pretty sure most of you don't know them, but they're worth checking out.
thomas2 Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I love the movie Titanic But everyone I know hates it
verticalzero Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Titanic, Team America, Dawn of the Dead Remake and I-Robot
ventedspleen Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I really like Pirates of the Caribbean 2 but a lot of my mates reckon it's crap!
TheArchfiend Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 The Last Dragon, the one with Bruce Leroy Harold and Kumar Go the White Castle (I hate these "stoner" movies but love this one) Legend
pvcoasterguy Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Titanic, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, I, Robot , Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (which is 100x better than the original), View from the Top, Rent
TheLastGunslinger Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Basically any monster B-movie, especially Tremors.
Masked_Maverick Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow Who hated Sky Captain? That movie was awesome I did forget to mention Master of Disguise
obeygiant Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 When I'm up at 2:30 in the morning and there is nothing on...I watch Mr. and Mrs. Smith. And when I do watch it, I can never change the channel.
goleafsgo Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 omg, you know what i really hate. people who thing crappy remakes of classic movies (like the italian job) are really good, and that the origional sucks...
TheLastGunslinger Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 I just got back from Best Buy where I bought the 2-disc special edition of Event Horizon. I can't explain why like this movie, there is just something about it that commands me to watch it whenever it is on TV.
okinawaboy11 Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 Mean Girls rules. I love Lindsay Lohan. I agree
saturday97 Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Heathers is a classic! No one has probably heard of Nice Girls Don't Explode, but it's really funny. I also love Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, Real Genius, and Orgazmo. I live in shame.
obeygiant Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Heathers is a classic! I also love Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, Real Genius, and Orgazmo. I love Heathers too. Orgazmo is funny also. I love to watch Mortal Kombat, it's such an awesome movie.
odene497 Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Pootie Tang! I don't think very many people have seen it, so it gets a bad rap. But I think it's actually really funny...well, at least parts of it. I love Pootie Tang! I also like Grease And Sister Act( I know it's weird)
saturday97 Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 What's even more pathetic is that not only do I like Sister Act 2, I also like Grease 2. Maybe I need a bad movie intervention.
odene497 Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Final Destination 3: I heard alot of people complaining "Not another Final Destination Movie" in the movie theater when the trailer was played. (I thought the movie was awesome and clever (not more so than Saw I & II) but great nonetheless...special effects...killer.) All I Can think of At the Moment.. The part where the girls burn was freaky. Does anyone know when FD3 is coming out on video?
odene497 Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 What's even more pathetic is that not only do I like Sister Act 2, I also like Grease 2. Maybe I need a bad movie intervention. Sister Act 2 is good, too. Grease 2 I've never seen the whole thing, but from what I've seen I don't like because it's just not the same as the original
