Hmm...

 

Nintendo's Server seems to be down. I wonder if they didn't expect this much traffic on the first day... Or more likely someone decided to have fun and frustrate all the Wii buyers by hacking the site.

 

Too bad I would have like to see what games they had for download, because I'm craving old fashioned Tetris.

 

Preordered my Wii back when it was still called Revolution. Everywhere seems to be out of extra controllers, but at least there seems to be a surplus of games.

I've just noticed something...

 

It appears that I've gotten a system with no English manual. I do have the set up manual for the system which is in English but they seemed to have given me one Spanish and two French manuals on how to navigate thought the Wii's menus.

I guess I'll have to email Nintendo to get the English one.

I got mine arly this morning, and its freaking AMAZING.

 

And a fellow TPR member was camped out about three people ahead of me, he was wearing a TPR hoodie.

 

Actually, i had him to my infront of me, a silver bullet shirt bext to me, and a guy with a tatsu shirt to the left of me (the line had a switchback) I felt all left out because i wasn't wearing a themepark shirt.

 

Oh, i have pictures, and my family loves it, ugh, they won't freaking let me play.

Glad you're all enjoying your Wii's, I havent been able to play it much, but it's fun.

I got to play Wii Sports, I played Bowling, Tennis and Baseball. Baseball was kinda wierd, but that's understandable, because I know nothing about the rules of Baseball. Bowling is fun, but not the best out of the ones I've played, and Tennis is really fun and addictive, but that might just be because I'm a tennis player myself. I didn't play Golf, because my brother played it and it didn't look much fun, and I didn't play Boxing because I don't have more extra Nunchuks to go with my extra remotes, and I wanted to play multiplayer.

 

I haven't played Zelda yet, but it looked like a lot of fun when my brother played it. I'm starting to get the hang of Red Steel, it's actually kinda fun now. I still can't get very far in the game though, the farthest I can get is when you get to the room with the big windows looking into it. My dad managed to get to the roof though. So far, the Wii is great, and I can't wait for Sonic and the Secret of the Rings and Super Smash Brothers Brawl to come out. SaSoR looks like they took the only good parts of Sonic the Hedgehog for Xbox 360 and built a whole game out of that, and SSBB is like Super Smash Brothers Melee for Gamecube, but online, which should be awesome.

I get in line at best buyt at about 4 in the morning. About 20 people in front of me...

 

Our best buy had TONS of Wii's. Atleast 100. Anywho, I get mine, get to the register.

I don't have a Wii, but I just got back from trying one out at Gamestop. It was so dang awesome, even though the game was ExciteTruck. The remote was smaller than I expected... But yeah, I am asking for one for christmas.

So I guess my ultimate question is...When do YOU think the next shipment of Wii's will be? Or atleast the next time they will be availible? I've heard next week, two weeks. Or the week before christmas. I forgot how late it is into November already. Hmmm. 4 Million by the end of the year is A LOT!

I'm enjoying my Wii right now...I've been playing with my Wii all day now...and not that way. I've been playing Twilight Princess trying to figure out how to get that cradle from that monkey as well as boxing it up on Wii Sports. Monkey Ball's sweet too.

Here's how to get the cradle from the monkey...

Jump across the raised platforms of land, until you reach the last one. Use the grass to call the owl and point the owl in the direction of the monkey with the cradle on the island. Release the owl and it'll swoop over and grab it for you and bring it to you.

I didn't get my Wii yet, I worked on Sat and got off at 4:00PM, there was some kids waiting since ten that morning.

I went out and talked to them for a while and told them I wasn't waiting, but would be back at midnight if there wasn't a lot a people there.

I planned to call first, since I knew how many we had....well I called at 11:45 and they told me that all 29 tickets where handed out already.

So needless to say I didn't go up there, but it's all good because I know that we are getting another shipment next week, probably tomorrow, I hope.

We have 31 more on the way, so with any luck I will be knee deep in Wii tomorrow after work.

So It must be my modem, Which is strange because My DS never had any problems with my wireless connection.
