Angry_Gumball
^I played the MonsterStorm at a Target yesterday and graphically, it's nice...otherwise, just another normal video game holding a controller. I can get the same enjoyment playing my 4-wheel Thunder for my Dreamcast instead of shelling out 500-600 bucks to do the same. Actually, MonsterStorm felt kinda Slo-mo and somewhat choppy to me. Florida420
Our Wiis came in today!!, at least half of them ( I hope ) We should get another 33 in the next 2 days. We got in 27.... OMFG I want to take one home right now, I don't want to wait, but we didn't get in LoZTP yet, so I guess I'll have to wait. I took a Wii out of the case, it was heaver than I expected, it's definitely heavier than the GC but not quite as heavy as the old X-box, but almost. No where near as heavy as the 360, I bet all the weight is in the Wii-mote, I hear they are pretty heavy.  We got in some games too Happy Feet Rayman Raving Rabbids Madden 07 Super Mario Galaxy (yeah right) GT Pro Series and last but not least Red Steel They better get in gear and send the other 20 or so titles within the next 2 days.  I got a few shots of the cases at work, I know, yippie They come 3 to a case, maybe tomorrow I will have a little more time to F' around and take all the pics I wanted to of all the Wiis that I can't have yet  only 3 more days!!!!!  P All " I still don't know if the plural for Wii is Wii ??" One more, I wanted to pull 3 out of the case and take a pic w/ them, but I got busy so I couldn't play around anymore. I wonder if "RVL" stands for Revolution? Hmmmmm.... It doesn't say Wii or Nintendo any where on the box. The lable just reads "White System W / Sports" Behold a whole gaggle of Wii !!!! The boxes look like the DS lite box, just bigger and they don't say Nintendo
DATman
Are they just releasing it in white? Or will there be other colors?
Wes
^ Just white, with other colors coming later. Sorta like the DS Lite.
Chase
^That's cool, I might get one if the XBox 360's are sold out.
Florida420
Yup, just white at launch, just like the DS lite. They didn't want to complicate things for launch and also to punish those of us who get the system at launch. They will probably release a few different colors next year around the fall. It's OK, my Wii will match my Lite See, they have lots to choose from, all with matching Wii-motes.

Real
Â Those are the boxes that I shipped. We passed over 5000 through our hub alone going all over the place. They were such a pain in the butt too...they are great to pack into the trailers but they arent exactly light (seems to be 2 per box - otherwise its heavy) and they came to our areas by the 100's. Â So, depending on where you were, I might have loaded (or my people) those boxes
GMAN962
I feel a little bit better, I just found out, today that we are going to get in 60 Wiis So I should be able to get mine a launch with out waiting all night and just going up at midnight. On another note we are only getting in 11 PS3s, 6 @ $600. and 5 @ $500. there goes my eBay plan, I definitely aint getting one of those at launch. We still don't have our playable PS3 yet, but I did get to play one at Target over the weekend, the choices are NBA 07 or Motorstorm, yippie Motorstorm was OK NBA, well .... The whole PS3 experience was just, meh, Â I heard our local Target has 120 in stock. Do you think that if I got up at 2 am, and went to Target on release day, that we'd be able to get a Wii? Â In order to stay awake, I'm bringing a backpack, some snacks, my DS, and a lot of time..... Â ~Mike "Wish me luck" J
Florida420
I think if you waited untill they opened you could still get one, with 120, if that number's correct, but they might sell out of some of the games.
tacoking
120? You should be fine if that's the case...

Florida420
I think you'll be safe enough, but if you want to wait early, then good luck to you. Â Â BTW let us know what number you are when you get in line
Blazen_AZN
I think i may have actually gone as low as to wake up at likre 5 am and wait at sams club... Â My biggest fear is them saying "oops, we're not getting Wiis!" Â *Runs to costco* [its right across the street, how convienent!] Â I remember when the 360s came out everyone was camping at bestbuy, while you could have showed up at costco at 8 am and got one within minutes. stupid gamers. Slacking
I read at IGN that Costco will not be receiving any Wiis on launch day, and that their launch allocation was sold strictly online.
Cameron
^^ Right .. Stay away from the big electronic stores, and go to department stores instead. You shouldn't have any trouble getting one, and you won't look like a loser camping on the sidewalk. Â Cameron.
DerekRx
I'd love to get a Wii eventually, but I'm not about to camp out for one. At least Nintendo isn't as ridiculous as Sony though, in cost and supply.
PhishyBrewer
Nintendo expects supply shortage of WiiBy Justin Mann, TechSpot.com Published: November 1, 2006, 7:06 PM EST Â Nintendo's Wii launch is quick approaching, with Nintendo promising 4 million units to be rolled out during the next six weeks. While they don't see a problem in delivering those units, they do predict that there will be a supply shortage due to high demand during launch: Â 4 million... I hope I can get one Sunday!!! robbalvey
I know what Elissa will be doing this weekend....playing with my Wii! Â Our "retail kits" came in today..... And for all you "Empty Box Enthusiasts" here's a picture that will give you an erection the size of Rhode Island! If I had a Wii controller surgically replacing my nose, this is what I would look like. See how the Wii fits nicely in between chins #2 and #5 (it covered up chins #3 & #4) My Wii looks nice and comfortable under that blanket. "Quick Setup...." I'm all about quick! Opening the box is like an Ikea project! "Anyone want to play with my Wii?"
