JordyC
Pulsar's splash basing filling up: source: That is absolutely amazing! I am wondering though, if you look at the bottom left corner, you can see some kind of wall moving towards the track when the water goes up. Are these the water locks that causes the basing to fill up? Or am I completely wrong?
RyanTPM
^You're right i think, that's what they are and it's amazing how fast they do it. Incredible to see it in action close up!
KingRCT3
Yep, doors open to fill up the splash zone quickly (the water level being lower than the surrounding lake), and then pumps pump the water out once the boat is away.
jimmiemac02
Thank you for posting that! It's amazing that it fills up so fast. I wonder how long it takes to pump the water out.
BDG
The park has created a 5-part documentary on the design and construction of Pulsar. In the first episode, Jean-Christophe Parent (park director) and Fabien Manuel (designer at Compagnie des Alpes) talk about the idea behind the ride, and its theme. RyanTPM
^That looks incredibly fun, a triple launch and a splashdown, great!
Rill'o'beily
That looks great, and the backspike looks intense since it sort of bulges weirdly
thrilladdict
Very cool ride! I'd love to see these pop up at more parks. I'd love to know just how wet this gets you. The track flooding system is impressive engineering though.
RCT3Bross
That looks like a lot of fun, can't wait to ride it. This will be great for a lot of parks.
Belgiumcoasterfreak
Pulsar has just opened for the public (for the first time). The ride will be officially open on June 4. Until then, the ride will randomly open for public (try-outs/soft opening).

thrillseeker4552
Looks awesome! I find it super interesting how they fill up and drain that splashdown so efficiently. I'm loving what MACK has been doing lately!

tanthonyam
hmmm, don't know. Looks kinda boring to me. Maybe for a small park, but it won't be a hit in a large themer.
