That is absolutely amazing! I am wondering though, if you look at the bottom left corner, you can see some kind of wall moving towards the track when the water goes up. Are these the water locks that causes the basing to fill up? Or am I completely wrong?

^You're right i think, that's what they are and it's amazing how fast they do it. Incredible to see it in action close up!

Yep, doors open to fill up the splash zone quickly (the water level being lower than the surrounding lake), and then pumps pump the water out once the boat is away.

In the first episode, Jean-Christophe Parent (park director) and Fabien Manuel (designer at Compagnie des Alpes) talk about the idea behind the ride, and its theme.

I'd love to know just how wet this gets you. The track flooding system is impressive engineering though.

Pulsar has just opened for the public (for the first time). The ride will be officially open on June 4. Until then, the ride will randomly open for public (try-outs/soft opening).
