the sound Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Strange. It was pouring with rain on the weekend, before that it was boiling hot (37-38), and now it's in the high 20's, low 30's (Celsius, that is).
Carnage Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 ...Dammit! I just did that driveway a half-hour ago! Â That's what condo fees are for. Â We got buried by that storm. I woke up at 9am, took one look outside and knew I was going no where. I couldn't even see the parking lot. Â The maintenance company showed up mid-evening with a small army of snow blowers, pickup trucks with plows on them, ATV with plows, and one huge construction front loader to move all the snow to the courtyard. Â Looks like tomorow will be my first winter drive in my new car, which I just learned how to drive standard in. Hopefully I don't end up in a ditch or stuck on a hill somewhere.
downunder Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Overcast, rain rubbed out the cricket and most carols on sunday but at least it's summer.
the sound Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 It just started pouring about 1 minute ago. Really windy, with some thunder and lightning to. It's dieing down now though. Â Yesterday however, there was flash flooding all through the city, as well as lightning (Really close to my house as well!) and hail. I'm really surprised actually, this is the kind of weather we missed in October.
astroworldfan1 Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 I live in Louisiana so it's a roller coaster of weather. One hour it could be really cold then get hot and the rain for 2 hours so we have pretty much ever type of weather expect Volcanic Eruptions and snow storms.
Goliath513 Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 I'm in Colorado for Christmas and it's snowing heavily!
Homer Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Sunny, highs in the 80's, lows in the 50's/60's. Â Always this hot during Christmas, it feels odd to still wear all short sleeves this time of year.
printersdevil78 Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 It's a little overcast here, about 50 degrees. But in my mind it's sunny with clear blue skies because I don't have to go back to work until January 2!
the sound Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Looks like it's going to be a cooler Christmas (again!) this year . Last Christmas, it snowed in some parts of Melbourne, which is absolutely incredible (It doesn't even snow here in winter!). There was some more flash flooding the other day, i actually got some pretty good shots of our street about a foot underwater. It was absolutely nuts!
dandaman Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Snowsqualls abound tonight. Driving to my first company Christmas party in a couple of hours; hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.
socalMAN123 Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Too hot (it's like 78 degrees). I want it to be cold, rainy or snowy. That would be my dream. ---Brent
I love DW Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 According to the Weather Channels local on the 8's: 32 degrees with partly cloudy skies and a wind chill of 27 and a light wind expected to pick up later tonight.
bgeguy Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 It's unpredictable in Virginia. In the winter, one day it could be 70 then the next day could be 40. Then it could be 65 then 35. It could rain and not turn into snow while it's 20 out.
ebl Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 Today it's nice and clear, but very cold and windy. Â Eric
odie Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 I had my first White Christmas today with about 2 inches of snow!
kraken613 Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Its snowing at my house right now! First snow fall! Â Only 40 minutes late too!
GriffyTiffy Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Plainfield, Northern Illinois 43 degrees Sunny
kraken613 Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Had a dusting of snow and sleet this morning! But its all melted now. Â WHY DOES IT SNOW WHEN SCHOOLS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
downunder Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Cloudy but at least it's summer, hasn't been real hot yet.
kraken613 Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 Colding and getting ready for a snow of 4-8 inches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
