^Is it shovel-able?

we got so little snow this year I only used my snow blower once. I ended up having to drain the gas out of it to "summerize" it.

^No, it's barely dusting the ground, but just enough it complicates driving. It might be thicker at a little higher elevation from here. Plus, my house is in the "banana belt" of town (open horse-pasture land) so the snow melts a lot faster here than even 5 miles up the road.

Been cloudy/sunny in the bay area but apparently there were some thunderstorms out in the central valley and even a tornado that did some damage out in Stockton. Pretty strange for tornadoes to appear in CA.

^That sounds unbearable. It has been gorgeous here, mid 70's in the day and 50's at night, though it's suppose to get hot (though not ^ that hot) later this week.

Suppose to be 88 today in Atlanta, so I'm going to SFOG for the day to enjoy it. Also, for those in Florida, I'm hoping for the rain to be over with.

In the 80's today, rather humid, and SUN!!!!! (There were some clouds for a couple hours, but nothing too bad.) Seeing as I live in Syracuse, NY, one of the cloudiest cities in the nation, I am happy.

92 degrees has never felt nicer. After enduring weeks of oppressive heat and humidity (plus at least one surprisingly cold thunderstorm), I'm loving Oregon's special brand of agreeable hotness.

How are you Northeast US folks handling Sandy? I guess many of you had practice with Irene last year.

Yeah, I was actually visiting USO and Disney when Irene came, so I'm just sitting here, on my computer, watching it rain.

So far, we've had a lot of rain and some strong gusts, but nothing too bad. However, the floods along the Atlantic coast about 100 miles away are driving local newscasters nuts. They are saying the worst is coming tonight, but I'm keeping positive and dry. I think tonight will define if Sandy will be worse than Irene.
