Dj-Javixxxxx Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Here are a couple of (non-lucrative) photos that I found from user adr25ia at capte forum about Dragon Khan's repainting ^low part of the loop is already painted, looks like if it was new!
Dj-Javixxxxx Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Adding some past photos in biggest size of coaster track, in their original status from elblogdedream. Enjoy, they have nice quality!
DKR Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Here is a picture of how the part of the transfer is being done. (Photo by Trevor)
DKR Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Jivo, the blogger from bloggercoaster.com, just posted some pics of how the painting of dragon is progressing. I personally LOVE the new supports colour More at: http://www.bloggercoaster.com/2011/12/obras-proyecto-2012-en-portaventura.html
Gerstlauer1 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 GOD DAMNIT! THAT IS SEXY! LOOK AT THOSE SUPPORTS!
Dragon Khan Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 OMG the sexiest coaster on earth is becoming even sexier ! It was about time, but now the contrast is clearly visible !
coasterfreak101 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Is that teal on the supports the same as on the two-tone track for Shambhala? Should add a really nice touch to have them complement each other like that!
Synkope Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Nice colors, finally Port Aventura makes one thing they should have done long before ago. It was so sad seeing those rare orange and white, but now Dragon Khan is going to glow again as the first time ever.
SharkTums Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 This is like when they repainted Kumba and brought it back to opening year glory! BTW, I find it amusing that more people seem interested in the repaint of Dragon Khan than the new Hyper!
DJeXeL Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 ^Because when all is said and done, DK will still be the superior B&M.

Viggen Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Finaly a new hypercoaster on the European continent! I'm happy whatever it is .... Looking forward to it! I love the tracks colors! I expected something totaly different actualy so it's realy a surprise for me.
djw44 Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I'm confused as to why they have been so vague with the footprint.
sammmmmy Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 ^I always think it makes it more interesting when we don't know the layout yet!
coasterfreak101 Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 For all intents and purposes, we do know the layout. You can see it by looking at the spread of support columns on the plan sheets back from just before the ride was announced.
