jason10 Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 HAHA! Mine was corkscrew, but at Alton Towers. (ouch)
John Peck Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 My first was Double Loop. I tried to be as brave as I could, I think I rode it twice. I was around 5 or 6, the year was 1979. This pict was taken about a month ago. It is not my photo Where are the loops?
atem122 Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 ^hey me too, Cali Screamin is still my 2nd favorite ride nearly 50 credits later
CreditCrazy Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Revolution @ SFMM. A great ride to get you okay/not scared of inversions. Although that loop does have some nice force.
Jds03 Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Talon  Yes it was quite a leap…especially since I was afraid to ride Laser earlier that the day.
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Time Warp at Canada's Wonderland the year it first came out, my cousins dragged me on it and I had never even ridden an upside down ride before. It wasn't that rough back then. And it didn't screech like a flying cage death trap either back then. It's also the one and only flying coaster I've ever ridden.
MrX8991 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Rock n' Roller Coaster at the Disney-MGM Studios before it became Hollywood Studios.
Sir Clinksalot Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 First with "Inversions" was Corkscrew at Knott's. First with a "Loop" was Revolution at SFMM.
FitchCoaster Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 California Screamin' Oh, the memories. I remember being terrified. Â Â In the end, it ended up being on of my favorites. Even now, it's still in my top 10.
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 My first with an actual vertical "loop" would be Skyrider at Canada's Wonderland when I was 13. I'll never forget the pain...
darienlakerules Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Mind Eraser at Darien Lake. It was a Zero wait cus the park just opened! Mind Eraser At darien lake
darienlakerules Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 My first was Double Loop. I tried to be as brave as I could, I think I rode it twice. I was around 5 or 6, the year was 1979. geauga lake was a special park. It had ceder point thrills with a small park feel.
jkwan Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 My first coaster with an inversion was riding Python by myself at BGA. I thought that riding it was like going on a fighter jet. Too bad it's not there any more . The last time I went to BGA, I was looking forward to riding it and Sheikra. But when I got there, they already tore it down and started working on Jungala. But the first coaster with a loop that I've been on is Scorpion. Well at least they didn't tear that down.
brand4d2 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Revolution at SFMM. I think I was either 9 or 10 at the time.
TheHulk Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Sheikra: Â Â Â Yea, yea, yea...which means I've missed out on a lot of good coasters for years, but what can you do when the rest of your family doesn't take frequent trips to the parks? Back in the day when I was younger, I had to stick with Space Mountain. Lol.
macca_boy69 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 The Demon at Wonderland Sydney. Its a Vekoma Boomerang LAME! I just remembered the pain.
