Actually, in my own opinion, you cannot do both parks in just one day.

Well you can go through both parks in one day. But...would that really be enough?

I always gave at least 2 1/2 days for the whole resort. Now of course,

I spent five nights on site, and it was wonderful!

That aside, I have no idea of what you could start with, first. Not much

to go on, but still. I have never heard of anybody who has done just that.

And say, that they really enjoyed their entire day's visit, there.

It's pretty hard to do both parks in a day unless it's VERY dead.

Well, with RnRC closed and Lights Motor Action gone forever, one could argue that the Studios is a one hour park.

Ride Crush, think about RC Racer, ignore the coma-inducing shows. Park's done.

Lights Motors Action is still open in Paris, as far as I'm aware there aren't currently any plans to close it are there?

With regards to the rest of the studios, if you are in a hurry, then you could do ToT, Ratatouille and Crush (it's best to get to Crush as soon as it opens as it always gets a long wait, and doesn't always open the single rider line.

Disneyland Park the must-do are Phantom Manor, Pirates & Space Mountain, so if you are just doing the 'highlights' then I guess it is possible to do both parks, but you'll be missing out on a lot, and there is also Disney Dreams, which is fantastic, but that is at closing time, which is currently 11pm.

Eventually it'll get replaced (some noise pollution surveys have been found, maybe a Marvel stuff?), but not in the near future.

Am I the only one who kind of enjoyed cinemagique? It was cheesy but I quite liked the way they did it overall, although they seem to keep tinkering with it to "update it" with more current movies and it seems to make even less sense what shows up where each time and they were stretching with a few on the original.

No. We hadn't seen it in 8 years, so it was nice to go back to it, and

see the new clips they had included. David really likes it, so next time, I think

I'll let him see it, solo.

Some new information and even a video of the Peter Pan refurb:

The dazzling new lights and paints are the first thing Guests will notice once they’ve boarded their flying ships. Thanks to fresh coats of paint throughout the attraction and brand-new LED black lights, the special effects are breathtaking! For this project, black light paint specialists from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida came to lend a hand to the French teams. Jim Crouch, Principal Color & Paint Specialist at Walt Disney Imagineering, supervised this collaboration during its six weeks and comes from Disneyland Resort in Anaheim.

Scene by scene, the painters invigorated the colours throughout the attraction to transport Guests more completely to Peter Pan’s world. Original projectors (some in use since 1992) were upgraded with wave-stimulating programmes. To match the like-new decor, the attraction’s props and figures were repainted and refurbished in the Central Shops workshops. The exterior of the building was freshened up, including the woodwork and paving along the waiting area. A new covered and heated shelter was also built for Cast Members.

“It has been a real pleasure to work here in Paris with this talented group. This has been a collaborative effort between Facilities and Operations Services and Walt Disney Imagineering and we’re making great things for the guests who will come to see this attraction,” shared Jim, before heading back to the United States. Flights to Never Land will resume 9 July 2016.

Lol almost 2:30 in Paris. Still not used to time. I'll be at the parks tomorrow. What is a recommended plan at Disneyland? Where to start in the park and where to get a fastpass? Which have single rider?

Any tips or tricks I should know about?

Just left the parks today! Even though many attractions are closed, we managed to complete a lot of rides!!!

Started off at Walt Disney Studios!

(Good thing we got here early because Crush's Coaster had a long line really fast! We ended up getting a Fastpass for Ratatouille after we were done with Crush's Coaster since it was 50 minutes. Did Tower and RC Racer and headed back to Ratatouille)

-Crush's Coaster. This was an absolute blast tbh. I had low expectations but I really never have been on a spinning coaster like this before (only Primeval Whirl at Animal Kingdom). It was loads of fun! Probably my favorite ride of the entire day. Wish I rode it again!

-Ratatouille. This was a fantastic dark ride with great use of the technology. It didn't blow me away, but it amazing how the cars ride together then separate, etc. Really neat experience.

-RC Racer. Front Row. I had low expectations but it really was a fun experience! The loading process was a bit slow but there was only a 10 minute wait for it. Theming was cool!

-Tower of Terror. I didn't expect this at first! I knew it was a slightly different version than Hollywood Studios but I wasn't expecting to go backwards at first! Liked the different experience from this tower! Awesome drops!

Then we headed over to Disneyland!

(Really not too many waits. Most rides were 5 to 15 minutes! A great day to be at the parks!)

-Space Mountain Mission 2. Front Row. Launch was great! However, this ride is a head-banger. Lots of fun...but it was rough.

-Indiana Jones. Front Row. I thought this was pretty great! The drops were fun and that loop was really tight haha. Great ride.

-Phantom Manor. Really enjoyed this experience!! I like the different take on the Haunted Mansion!

-Pirates of the Caribbean. This was great! However, there were some audio/animatronic problems it seems. Much better than the Magic Kingdom version though.

We also rode the Casey Jr. Train and did a few of the walk-through attractions like the one with the dragon, the one inside the castle, and the one by Space Mountain. After this, we headed out as we completed everything we wanted to do! Fun time at Disneyland!!

Fun fact, this coaster is actually a slightly modified cookie-cutter model from Maurer. The only change is the opening bit where you do the quick trip outside before the lift. They're great spinner rides because the layout really allows for the cars to get wild! Disney's themeing and putting it indoors, though, really pushes it the extra mile and makes it very memorable.

If you're interested in the layout, look up Spider at Lagoon or Undertow at SCBB.

"Peter Pan's Flight" has reopened this week, fully refurbished with brighter colors and lighting, as well as some new effects (eg. the pixie dust in the bedroom).

It's definitely the best building in the Studios to do that sort of projection/mapping on.

The central "plaza" however, is not condusive to handling huge enormous crowds like

shows and fireworks over on the castle in the MK. Not since the last time I was there,

back In September. The major walkway, towards the Toon Section of the park, can

take the crowds, but it will be a fairly thick crowd, for others to get around.

Looks great, all the same!

And ^^ I love that shot of the drained river, the poor faded BTM there in the middle, and

the 'extra touch' of (I assume) a workers' building in view, up there past the (what I call)

steam pots.

Wow that is quite a lot of stuff, to be potentially happening.

Pirates alone is more extensive than I would've imagined, sounds like they are trying to capture some of the magic of the Shanghai version, could be quite interesting to see how it turns out.

As for the other rumours, it would be great to see a new Frozen ride in Fantasyland, and hopefully a meet & greet location included with this, ( I still can't believe they haven't already got an Anna & Elsa meet in place). A new version of Indy would be amazing, but I can't see this happening for a long time if at all, but Disneyland Park does definitely need a new E-Ticket attraction. It would actually be quite good if it was located north of Temple of Peril, connecting PotC and Temple creating a loop within Adventureland. I'm sure this would improve the flow of people in the area, and bring more people to Temple, as it is an easy attraction to miss completely as it is tucked away from the rest of the area.

The studio rumours are the most promising though, as the park needs a big overhaul, although I would scrap the Studio Tour I don't think it's needed or is still relevant to warrant the changes needed to make it fit around the other plans.

^^ That is quite The List of anything and practically everything to be done, in the parks!

Was there any timeline, associated with this information? Or not that detailed, at this time?

Season of the Force is officially coming to Disneyland Paris starting January 14th.

http://www.disneylandparis.com/en/entertainment/season-of-the-force/

From 14th January to 26th March 2017, Disneyland® Paris awakens with the Season of the Force. Summon your inner Jedi and lead your young Padawans to Walt Disney Studios® Park for an intergalactic extravaganza, where a spectacular nighttime show blasts you to the heart of the Star Wars saga. During the day, the light or dark side, you must choose. But be sure to pick wisely, as the fearful First Order march perilously close and stormtroopers patrol the streets. And if it’s more of the Force you’re after, fulfil your destiny at the Jedi Training Academy in Disneyland® Park.

I have never ever understood the affinity for Peter Pan's flight which in my opinion is weak Disney dark ride and always has excessive wait times thanks to it's capacity but I will say that those improvements look nice. For those who have ridden both, do you prefer the Magic Kingdom or DLP version?
