Sportsdude360
^That is the standard 24 seat Endeavor at Coney Island. Ours is the new Endeavor 48 which has 48 seats as opposed to 24.
DoinItForTheFame
Nope. Star Flyers don't appeal to me. Translation: "Star Flyers scare me poo-poo less"! Sounds about accurate for me!! I don't mind the Windseekers, but there is no way in the gay hell you are going to have me dangling by some janky a$$ chains 400ft up in the air. Yes, I know the chains are super strong, and could hold a car up, or whatever it may be. . . But still, NO! Also, I can't stand when you're riding a Star Flyer and the seats start twisting. . . Nope! I'm not about that life, and I can not imagine what it would be like 400ft up in the air. The 150ft version was bad enough! I watched Texas Sky Screamer last time I was there... after watching a ride cylce my best friend and I looked at each other, and said "Mr. Freeze is looking really good right about now!" So that's where we headed instead, and never have either of us regretted not riding Texas Sky
Sportsdude360
^Having ridden TSS many times, I have never once been scared on this ride. I've also ridden Windseeker at CP and let me tell you it's tame and uneventful compared to TSS. I rode the 200ft Sky Screamer down at Fiesta Texas recently, it was like riding a kiddie swing next to our beautiful 400ft TSS. I'm of the opinon that you're letting your fear get the better of you. If you can handle rides like Freeze and Top Thrill Dragster, a 400ft Star Flyer should seem as nothing to you. Arthur_Seaton
I've ridden both the Texas and the New Jersey star flyers and found both utterly terrifying. I still rode them over and over though Even though safety is never a question, it's absolutely unnerving to be spun at that height on those chains. Once the seats start to spin a bit, it gets worse. Very few super tall rides have this effect on me, so it really does come down to a feeling of insecurity, I guess. Lex Luthor produces a similar feeling because the openness of the restraint adds to the insecure feeling.
rmsy
The view from Texas SkyScreamer is amazing and alone makes the experience worth it. The chains twisting, especially on a particularly windy day, is a little nerve wracking, but I personally think it's pretty cool. Skycoaster (Dive Bomber Alley), however, is another story. I've only ridden it three times about a year ago, and while it's not nearly as terrifying as the first time, it still gets my blood pumping every time I fly. Superbatboy
Yeah those Windseeker/Sky Screamer type rides ARE terrifying. Up so high in just a chair. They sure are pretty though, and add so much flare to a park's skyline.

They have a lot of the queues on the rides set up. It looks like they still need to add sun shades though. The signs for the rides still need to be installed. aeyrolet
Here are a few picture updates on the new rides from this past weekend. This Tuesday is the commercial shoot. Next Tuesday is the media day. They have not announced a date for any season pass preview events, but they will probably be like Thursday and or Friday May 26th or 27th. Harley Quinn got some added themeing to the back fence. The Riddler Revenge now has a sign. New trees and rocks are going into the back area. A closer look at the new Riddler Revenge sign.
