I think they were called Fizzies. It was a tablet you dropped in a glass of water and it fizzed. They came in flavors like orange, root beer, cola.

Aren't those the ones that were too politically incorrect to be sold? Like the flavors were "Injun Orange," and "Chinese Cherry" among others?

I looked it up, and Fizzies weren't the ones I was thinking about... the ones I was thinking about are called Pillsbury's Funny-Face drinks...

Other flavors included "Freckle-face Strawberry, "Goofy Grape," "Rootin Tootin Raspberry," and "Loud Mouth Lime."

I used to miss vintage candy, and I would post that as my response, but a new store opened here that sells almost all the candy I grew up with in the 70's and 80's, so I get it all now.

So lets see.... hmmm, what do I miss that I would like back...

this one's tough, I'll get back to ya... LOL

I'm waiting on Get A Life to come out on DVD sometime soon.

Chris Elliott was on The Daily Show last week and he said they had recorded the commentaries and that it'd be out at some point next year. My friends will be so happy, they have crappy VHS dubs they still watch.
