bgtlover Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 There's still hope...Kings Island isn't announcing today so you never know. That trash can or bench may show up just yet.
MiABeta Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 If you look back at page one of this thread MiA has always announced no later than October so you never know maybe Trash Vengeance will be added. Btw i actually had to zoom to 200% on my browser to view that without quoting it.
Vonni Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 With Valleyfair's announcement, a Larson Loop is definitely in the realm of possibilities.
MiABeta Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 If we see Larson loops at every cedar fair park I'll probably be happy because that means one at MiA but that's too much a Six Flags right now.
Cyrbuzz Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 I just feel this is yet another year of passing this park by on adding anything. I truly believe my former home park is the red headed step child of the chain.
RAWKIN_coaster38 Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 CGA was passed up for a long time, with coasters being removed and the fate of the park unknown. Now, they've added GoldStriker 2013, Patriot conversion 2017, and Railblazer for 2018. Maybe MiA's time will come yet?
Platinum Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 A giant laser loop with winged seating would be perfect for MIA.
MiABeta Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 CGA was passed up for a long time, with coasters being removed and the fate of the park unknown. Now, they've added GoldStriker 2013, Patriot conversion 2017, and Railblazer for 2018. Maybe MiA's time will come yet? Yep. Maybe they will get more than two relocations in ten years. Maybe they can get Carowind's Vortex, the boomerang and some mediocre flats from some of the other parks. No but in all honesty any B&M or RMC or even those new Vekoma would be amazing here. Not to mention the new cedar fair connections with gerstlauer seem promising. Plus my friend sent me this Facebook post which was oddly amusing Edited for privacy/security
A.J. Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 I truly believe my former home park is the red headed step child of the chain. What are you implying about redheads?
MiABeta Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Every time I make a post like that I always question why am I expecting anything, I should just be happy for what this parks got. But people can dream right?
ytterbiumanalyst Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Oh you can dream. But when you dream of Dueling Dragons showing up at your local park, then I will facepalm.
bgtlover Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 ^There haven't been any updates since they posted it arriving on their Facebook page.
codeGR Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Los Angeles Times is reporting that "Boomerang was sold to a Denmark ride refurbisher and reseller"
bgtlover Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 ^I think they got the country wrong in their fact checking since it's in The Netherlands at a refurbisher.
Parker821 Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 An employee told me supervisors are talking about a gravitation next year.
ytterbiumanalyst Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Hmm, I don't know about that. I feel like the gravitation throughout the park is generally pretty close to Earth's already.

grsupercity Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I am already down to only once a year if that. If they cant get a super loop or a used Boomerang I will really be done with the park. I know the park is a money maker and does not need investments to thrive but least throw the park a bone once in a while. My rant is done

My home park VF is the red headed step child of the CF chain but MiA is the abandon child left at the fire station. At least they throw VF bones once in a while.
codeGR Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Construction spotted at Michigan's Adventure! Kind of a crappy situation, though...
KyleJPie10 Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Construction spotted at Michigan's Adventure! Kind of a crappy situation, though... Disappointing. Wish RMC coulda got their hands on that sewer.
Vonni Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 ^ They do have a nack for turning shit into gold.....
DirkFunk Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 Construction spotted at Michigan's Adventure! Kind of a crappy situation, though... Expanding basic infrastructure is a good thing. Better that than being Six Flags America where you can't have restrooms or full service restaurants in 1/3 of the park.
