Angry_Gumball
It's quite funny watching the GP guess what they are, and how they word it: "pipes that hold the ride up so it's safer/so nobody dies.."
gromithere
I actually like your guess the best. "Yay blue cylindrical object thingies that hold up the red/yellow twisty stuffs!" Hahahaha.
XYZ
They're sewer pipes for the new roller coaster.
154bmag
I actually like your guess the best. "Yay blue cylindrical object thingies that hold up the red/yellow twisty stuffs!" Hahahaha. That is what they are, gotta give the GP credit for that.

Angry_Gumball
Boomerang looks so naked now without its ugly wrap. Looks better but looks naked.
cal1br3tto
I'd forgotten that the Boomerang train matches the ride so well. That's a good look for it!
Double0Kevin
^It looked even better when the Yellow wasn't so faded. It got pretty bad quickly. It's good to see them out there working on Superman, I sure hope vertical construction starts soon. I'm not so sure anymore that they will make Memorial Day, not with it being a month and a half away.
skaunit
Darnell and I are walking into the park right now, there is NO ONE HERE! Sun is out with chance of showers, looks to be an awesome morning session! Construction update soon to come!
skaunit
Well, my apologies for not posting the pics yesterday. I had a crazy busy night at work and was wiped out when I got home. Had a great day, well morning, at the park! The skies cleared up, it was sunny, and we didn't wait in a SINGLE line. 10 good rides in 1.5 hours. 2 on Medusa to start, then Boomerang back row [that track looks great btw], then a back row ride on Roar, 2 on V2, and 3 more on Medusa. Ok, on to the pics! 1-2 train wait at medusa an hour after opening is a beautiful thing. Ready for more construction pics? a few shots from Roar's station supports stacked in place and ready overview shot supports stacked in place Old station and que still clearly untouched Looks like vertical construction is very near please excuse the finger Again, they're on the verge of going vertical

XYZ
That heartline roll looks amazing, the thick spine looks interesting and seems like it got a lot of inspiration from Maurer Sohne.
gisco
Lots of parts on site. Have they started to go verticle on this yet?
PhantomNick
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this coaster go vertical. This project intrigues me, as I'm a huge fan of Sky Rocket back here at Kennywood. Although Superman's capacity might not end up being the best, I have a feeling it will be a blast to ride! SFDK is on my wish list of parks to visit someday. The wife and I have talked about a Napa/SFDK trip at some point.
Andrewoplis
^^ I'm not sure, but I am pretty sure there is a crane on site, so it should go vertical soon!
