DirkFunk Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Dorney's getting a set of flyers and a BBQ restaurant for next year. https://www.dorneypark.com/what-s-new/new-for-2015 Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, the center of summer fun and family entertainment in the Lehigh Valley, will be adding a new family ride, barbeque dining experience and All Season Dining program for season passholders as part of its plan for the 2015 season. The Cedar Creek Flyers will be added to the lower section of the park across from Stinger. This unique experience is an updated version of a classic thrill ride. Riders will sit in one of eight “eagles” suspended from arms 28 feet in the air. As the ride spins, the eagles will swing outward – and riders have the unique opportunity to control their flight experience from mild to wild! Dorney Park will also continue to enhance the dining experience for its guests next year with the addition of the Smokehouse Barbecue, which will be located in the current Patio Pizza location. The new restaurant will feature BBQ favorites such as smoked beef brisket, pulled pork, hush puppies and more! An All Season Dining Plan will be also be introduced for season passholders. This program will allow guests to redeem lunch and dinner each time they visit Dorney Park during the 2015 season. Each meal option will include an entrée and side at participating locations throughout the park including Amore Pizza, Coasters, Burger Barn and the new Smokehouse Barbecue.

Keep me posted when you find out if this is a show or ride. Best guess is it'll be some sort of walkthrough attraction, possibly with an aquarium. The company unveiled the new attraction which will be on the eastern edge of the property, facing the Casino Arcade on the eastern side and a new wave pool on the western side. A reconfigured go-kart track will wind underneath a portion of the miniature golf course and under two new proposed water slides for space saving efficiency, according to recently released artists renderings. The park also announced a new ride called the Shore-Shot, similar to the Tower of Terror which was lost in the 2013 Seaside Park boardwalk fire.

Your thread is a good source to see what's going on. If the two of you can work together to at least add the "major" new coasters going into China in 2015 I think that would be helpful. And when I say a major I mean like a decent sized B&M, Intamin, S&S, Vekoma, woodies, and maybe even the bigger of the Chinese knock-offs. But I wouldn't list everything as we already have the other thread for that, and I think it would just be too much. Edited December 25, 2014 by robbalvey

rcmfidl123 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Martin's Fantasy Island of Grand Island, NY is expected to add a Bertazzon Rock & Roll ride and, according to the Amusement Today mobile edition for January, a brand new SBF Visa Drop N' Twist tower (height undetermined at this time) will replace the current Beanstalk drop tower. Thought I would share so you can add it to the list!
