jbottgen Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 At one point you have to rebuild the train station. Forgot who starts it.
Meteornotes Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 This update is annoying me. Especially the yeti. It seems like there is too much to do and there's no way to get everything done without spending actual money. Â I'm probably also annoyed that I was doing really well at the Halloween event and then I ended up needing emergency heart surgery and missed the end of it while in the hospital for two weeks and couldn't finish. I'm not sure I want to put this much effort into a game at this point... Â dt

It seems like there is too much to do and there's no way to get everything done without spending actual money. I'm probably also annoyed that I was doing really well at the Halloween event and then I ended up needing emergency heart surgery and missed the end of it while in the hospital for two weeks and couldn't finish. I'm not sure I want to put this much effort into a game at this point...  dt  I completely agree. I didn't finish the Halloween event (though I got most of what I wanted), though it was mainly because I lost a week due to not being able to load the game (had to wait for an update to come out that fixed the problem before I could play). I have lost some time on this event because I was out of town last week, and therefore not playing as regularly as I normally do, but even if I had played as much as usual during all of last week, I still don't think I would be on track to finish.  On a side note, I'm sorry to hear about your emergency surgery! Hope you've recovered okay!
ernierocker Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Still haven't knocked off the third hat for the yeti yet. Just unlocked Jingle Joe, so at least I have three characters fighting him now.
jbottgen Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Just unlocked puppy Brian (tiny), Barbra, and Jesus all back to back.
SharkTums Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 How did you get that many stockings from the shoppers? I feel like I only get 1 stocking for every 5 shoppers I kill.
Hhappy Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 I should have started playing this a long time ago.. just started on district 4, no way that i'll be able to get all the goods from the Christmas update. At least this feels more fun/challenging than the Simpsons (at this time)
jbottgen Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 How did you get that many stockings from the shoppers? I feel like I only get 1 stocking for every 5 shoppers I kill. Â Had everyone making fluff balls non-stop, and I also set my town up like a giant funnel. All the shopper tend to hang out at the bottom of it. I usually get 1-2 stockings per bomb.
BCTom Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 The only thing bugging me right now is the overlap, where I want characters to be in two places at once. Lois and John McClane both have unfinished quests because I have to keep them on the Yeti all the time in order to maintain my progress there. Â I almost have enough materials for Jesus so I can hopefully let them finish their quests shortly. Â I do like how generous this game has been with free clams. I have a couple of those premium characters and have yet to spend real money. Better than Tapped Out in that regard.

Had everyone making fluff balls non-stop, and I also set my town up like a giant funnel. All the shopper tend to hang out at the bottom of it. I usually get 1-2 stockings per bomb.  Can you post a screenshot? Every time I try to funnel (Mutant Stewie, Trick or Treaters, now Shoppers) they walk right through whatever I use... It's really annoying.
jbottgen Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 They still walk all over the place but they spawn on the street and then tend to go down to the bottom where the opening is. Only bomb when there is a bunch of green shirted guys, since only they drop stockings.
BCTom Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 I have a little hedge maze/spiral in the center of my town, and the center is the only place I have any street tiles. Â The snowmen and Santa all congregate there, but the shoppers only do so occasionally for some reason. Does the trick in any case.
jbottgen Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 The only pavement I have in my whole town is what you see. The shoppers spawn on the pavement. So when they poof into existence, bomb them into nothingness.
Godwyn Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 ^ I've been doing the same thing but I still usually only get cookies. It's taking forever to get puppy Brian. Â I just seen that Paul Stanley posted on his facebook that he is going to be in the game helping Peter save Christmas!
jbottgen Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 I just seen that Paul Stanley posted on his facebook that he is going to be in the game helping Peter save Christmas! Â YES!!!
SharkTums Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Make sure to log in today for some free clams!
Godwyn Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Gene and Paul are now available to buy with clams. Because of that, I'm currently down to 6 clams. If the other two became available, I'm going to have to break down and buy some clams.
jbottgen Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 The other two are part of the KISS stage. Not playable characters.
amyzoo Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 I might just be able to beat top hat yeti by tomorrow, I don't know about king yeti... And there's a chance I will get Jesus in time.
Guy T. Koepp Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I finished all the christmas quests and got everyone their presents, but it still is giving me a countdown on RoboRudolph. How do you get RoboRudolph? I am so confused.
jbottgen Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 ^Same here. Never heard of RoboRudolph, I got a Rabbid Rudolph.
bbomser Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I'm in the same boat as the two of you. Â Did see something about a NYE event with Brian dressed in a Tux, so that's probably next. I'm also hoping they open up this new district and we finally get to fix the blimp.
ernierocker Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 ^LOL, I completely forgot about the blimp!
SharkTums Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 So I think I'm now all caught up from everything. Done with all the New Years, Christmas, and Jillian tasks. Â Am I slow or how is everyone else doing?
SuperShawn Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Just wrapping up the Jillian tasks today, then I am all caught up.
