IronWolfman
Very interesting park! I love the similarity to other Six Flags parks by building 2 coasters at once! Can't wait for the next update!
DoinItForTheFame
You are doing such a great job with this park!!! I can't wait to see the 2 new coasters up and running!!! DarienLaker
You are doing such a great job with this park!!! I can't wait to see the 2 new coasters up and running!!! And I really can not wait to see what replaces Déjà Vu in a few years! Let me guess on the fate of Six Flags Valley Hills' DeJa Vu coaster, I say it's going to last at the park from 2001-2007 then in 2008 Six Flags Valley Hills builds a Tony Hawk's Big Spin/Pandemonium coaster to go in its place! JonnyRCT3
Very similar to the year SFGAM got both Déjà Vu and Vertical Velocity Yes, that was the idea. So this park has 3 inverted coasters now? Interesting. Looks great! Love the custom scenery in this park. Keep up the great work! Thank you. I try and mix in-game scenery with CS, and not rely too much on one type. I'm really lovin' this park. Prepare yourself for even more. Very interesting park! I love the similarity to other Six Flags parks by building 2 coasters at once! Can't wait for the next update! I thought this park could use a coaster package, especially when considering what SF was doing around this time period. JonnyRCT3
Saturday, May 19, 2001 Tom Keystone - local enthusiast The off-season has come and gone, and I could finally get my hands on Six Flags Valley Hills's TWO new roller coasters. Superman: Ultimate Escape! The worlds tallest & fastest inverted roller coaster! The rides station is right over the creek, just like Black Stallion's maintenance bay. These powerful Linear Induction Motors propel the train out of the station at speeds of up to 71 mph! Twisting up the forward spike was one of the most frightening experiences. It seems as if the coaster is going to fly right off the tracks. Special Note: The towers had a very noticeable sway when the train traversed them. A lot of the GP, myself included, found this quite odd. After flying with the man of steel, Déjà Vu was next on my itinerary. Unfortunately my worst fear came true. Déjà Vu's opening has been delayed due to mechanical issues. This was a HUGE bummer, as I was really anticipating riding both Superman & Déjà Vu. With Déjà Vu's closure putting a big damper on my mood, I got on the Valley lift and headed over to Batman: The Ride. I can always count on B&M to be reliable. This is something I find quite odd; Six Flags Valley Hills now has three inverted roller coasters; Batman: The Ride, Déjà Vu, and Superman: Ultimate Escape. Along with three drop rides; Towering Inferno, ZER0, and Frog Hopper. Three times the charm! Apple Twists has been relocated to Camp Looney Tunes in order to make way for Superman: UE. I prefer the more tranquil scenery provided by the back of the park, than the hectic busy environment by the entrance. While credit whoring in Camp Looney Tunes I was lucky enough to catch a few test runs of Déjà Vu . It wasn't much, but at least I was able to see it in action. By around 5 pm I got back in line for Superman. Crowds were awfully heavy for this time of year. This may turn out to be the busiest season on record. Artsy fartsy. This time I rode Superman: UE in the back, and this is by far my favorite seat. Watching the ground warp around you, and then pausing for a brief second of weightlessness is an experience like no other. The spiraling free-fall down the tower is just as good. Beautiful heartline! Another (sad) look at a missed credit. All I can do is hope it will be up and running by my next visit. I'm counting on you Six Flags! Two trains, one shot. Score! This concludes part 1 of my 2001 Photo TR. My next visit will be in three weeks, hopefully Déjà Vu will be open by then. -Tom Keystone Edited May 26, 2014 by JonnyRCT3

IronWolfman
I'm loving this! Just a few questions: Why does the Impulse only have 5 cars instead of 7 or 8? Why don't you use the Deja Vu CT also at RealTycoon3? It looks much better.
DoinItForTheFame
Love the new additions! They look great!!! Déjà Vu's opening has been delayed due to mechanical issues. This was a HUGE bummer, as I was really anticipating riding both Superman & Déjà Vu. I saw this coming!!! Hopefully the park will get things worked out, and get this ride up and running!! Why? It didn't happen that way for any of the others. SFGAm replaced theirs with Buccaneer Battle, SFOG built Whistlestop Park, SFMM... did they replace it? This is just a new version of the inverted impulse, and Wicked Twister didn't open until 2002.

JonnyRCT3
Saturday, June 9, 2001 Tom Keystone Déjà Vu finally made it's official debut to the public today! Shortly after opening, Déjà Vu managed a 1.5 hour wait. The ride operators sent out full trains the rest of the day. Déjà Vu's iconic twin peaks are noticeable throughout the park. This is an excellent replacement for that pile of scrap once known as Gladiator. The ride flips you upside down twice during its 110-foot boomerang inversion, then through a 102-foot vertical loop. This process is repeated a second time, backwards! Six Flags Valley Hills' original inverted coaster. The B&M classic, Batman: The Ride. Batman: The Ride, as viewed from the rides' queue. The zero-g roll has that awesome 'snap' to it. Batman: The Ride & Déjà Vu both feature cobra rolls. I enjoy the smooth transitions found on Batman over Déjà Vu. Although riding through it backwards is balls-to-the-walls awesome! Superman: Ultimate Escape launches out of the station at 71 mph (world record) using powerful LIM motors. Superman has proven VERY popular. This was the line at 9:30 am, the shortest it was all day. Although at one point the ride did experience a breakdown. This caused the queue to become deserted. The 200-foot rear spike is my personal favorite part, especially in the back. That sway was once again noticeable. Scary. Black Stallion had only had a 5 minute wait the rest of the evening. Lucky! Obligatory Black Stallion shot. The GreenBrier Grill renovation was nothing more than a few facade additions. Well, it still looks great. I hadn't payed a visit to Bluegrass Theater in quite some time. I decided to give it a go for old times sake. The original play has returned this season, the corny jokes and all. The live action stunts were better than I remember. I found this quite notable. Music Box maintained a queue ALL day. The ride is usually a walk-on. Finally, I was able to take a ride on my favorite flat, Buccaneer. The light floater airtime on this thing is always satisfying. -Tom Keystone
