_koppen Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Interesting how they also went for that "different" track style for the turn. As mentioned already, probably to save supports. I suspect that almost the entire ride will be made with that track, except the last bits.
Dapalm Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Well, here is a small preview of this ride. Obviusly it isn't accurate, but you can get a general idea:
gerstlaueringvar Posted June 14, 2015 Author Posted June 14, 2015 That spinner is NOT for Lewa, it's at Shaoxin City which is roughly at the Shanghai area. My apologies for all the confusions.
Gutterflower Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 wow that took a bit of digging That spinner is indeed in Shaoxing City. At a new indoor park called 7 Mountain Kingdom. Gutterflower Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Source Zero-G-Roll is up and the massive loop is climbing to the sky. The rest of the park is now open too so this shouldnt take too long to go up now they have nothing else to focus on.
Paradox Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 The Mack is the only reason I would actually visit this park. And that would be the only thing I would ride.
Nickstroberg Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Good Lord! The Mack coaster looks like it will be epic! I'm so glad someone is throwing some inversions on a hyper for a change
Gutterflower Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 The first airtime hill and stengel style dive are up and the first drop and worlds tallest loop are on the way up now. Source
Gutterflower Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 No wonder it has the colours of McDonalds, it"s a Big Mack!
Coaster Hero Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 No wonder it has the colours of McDonalds, it"s a Big Mack! *Ba dum tss Good one
The Yeti Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 I can't get over how much that zero-g roll reminds me of Kumba's. That is a very, very good thing, plus everything else so far on this ride looks awesome.
Gutterflower Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 I have to admit I stole that joke off someone who posted a reply on my Facebook update for this but it was too good not to re use. As recompense here's another picture which will remind people even more of Kumba.
KingRCT3 Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 ^ It was me, haha, glad you liked. Oh I totally forgot the lift was going through the loop! This ride is really something unique...
Gutterflower Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 It's looking incredibly impressive. Source
thrillseeker4552 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 No wonder it has the colours of McDonalds, it"s a Big Mack! You win at life. That loop is MASSIVE! Can somebody confirm its height? Is it taller than Full Throttle's?
Coaster Hero Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 I read somewhere that it's 164ft... 4ft more than FullThrottle's loop! For you guys that use the metric system that's 50m vs FT's 49m.
